Went on a 7-day Turkey tour with my besties (we were 5 total!) and honestly… one of the best trips of my life. Istanbul was magical, Cappadocia looked like Mars with balloons lol, and Ephesus?? blew my mind. Huge thanks to our guide Tahsin – he took care of everything, was super patient with our chaos, and made us laugh the whole time. We love you Tahsin!! Already miss the food, the views, and our little travel fam 🧡

Me and my friends just got back from 7 days in Turkey… wow. Istanbul was crazy beautiful, so much history everywhere. Loved the Troya, Cappadocia and just getting lost in the old streets. Cappadocia blew my mind – the ballon ride was like something out of a movie. Stayed in a cave hotel (!!) and it was actually super cozy. Ephesus was also amazing. I’m not even a huge history person but walking there felt special. Big thanks to our consultant Tahsim – he was super friendly, funny, and knew so much. Seriously made the trip feel smooth and personal. Turkey, I’m coming back for sure - with Travel Tips Turkey.

Travel Tips Turkey tour support was outstanding. Selçuk helped me every step of the way and was available on WhatsApp to answer all of my questions beforehand and on tour. He was quick, responsive, and reassuring every step of the way. As a solo female traveler who does not speak Turkish, I felt completely safe and taken care of the whole time. I know safety is not why we travel, but it should be the reason you book with Travel Tips Turkey. The tour was well-paced and visited so many important historical, cultural, and religious sites. Day 3 in Ephesus was the most jam-packed (in a good way), and we visited the Virgin Mary's House, ancient Ephesus, Temple of Artemis, and Isa Bey Mosque. The guide was excellent. Day 6 and 7 in Cappadocia included a lot of natural beauty and opportunities to hike. The views were amazing and unlike anything I've ever seen before. I am a budget-conscious traveler, but I decided to book the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia. It was one of the most phenomenal and beautiful experiences of my life, and I do not regret a single penny I spent on it. In total, the tour included 5 visits to factories (2 leather, 1 stone, 1 jewelry, 1 ceramic), which I could have done without. Each day ended around 4 pm, which provided enough time to get situated in the hotel and explore the town. Even though I was a solo traveler, I was grouped with other travelers each day to visit the sites, and I made a number of friends through these experiences. Thank you, Travel Tips Turkey!

Could you please clarify the difference between "Standard" and "Premium" hotel options? As a 40 yr old female solo traveler planning to join in July or August, I'm curious about the typical age range of participants on this trip. Any tips for solo travelers would also be appreciated!

Hotel Options Standard vs. Premium: The main difference between the two options lies in the level of comfort, style, and amenities. We regularly welcome solo travelers (especially women), and you'll find that many of our guests are in their 20s to 70s, with a mix of ages depending on the season. Tips for Solo Travelers: Pack light and breathable for July/August it can be warm, especially inland. Come with a sense of curiosity and flexibility some of the best travel connections and moments come from unexpected conversations and shared experiences.

Would it be possible to know the hotels we would be staying at and also the average ages of the other people in the group. Are there solo travelers? I am a 40 year old female and was hoping to travel with like minded people 30 - 50. I would do the premium option hotel.

    • Travel Tips TurkeyOperatorWritten June 2025

If you're interested in an upgrade, we can also arrange Luxury class hotels for you at an additional cost. We typically welcome a diverse mix of travelers, including couples, friends, and solo adventurers. While we can't confirm exact group details in advance such as ages, our guests usually range from their 20s to 70s. Throughout your journey, you may be part of different groups on different days, depending on the activity and destination.
