Female Guide HolidayOperator•Written January 2024As this is a road trip, you'll not have to experience hiking or trekking adventures. However, there will be a short hiking trip to EBC, and the altitude won't be too high.

Asked on September 4th, 2023I will be joining a guided overland motorcycle tour leaving India, travelling through Nepal to the Kyirong border crossing with Tibet and onward to Lhasa. The tour ends in Lhasa and most members of the tour group will catch the flight back across the border to Kathmandu. I would like to, instead, travel overland with your tour to Kathmandu. I will be entering Tibet on a group Tibet travel permit with the motorcycle tour group, but I am not sure how this would affect joining your tour group to leave Tibet with your group. Can you please help?

We would like to inform you that travelers who wish to enter Lhasa must obtain a visa from the Chinese Embassy in Nepal. If a traveler wants to enter Lhasa directly from their country, they must get the visa from the Embassy and forward the required documents to Lhasa where they will be staying at a hotel as per our booking. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend that travelers come to Nepal where we will arrange everything accordingly. However, we would like to clarify where the traveler will enter Lhasa, as this information was not provided. Also, please note that there is currently no flight information available for 2024, so the tour will be via road. If the date is suitable for you, we will manage the group accordingly.
