Itinerary
- Day 1
Muscat to Sur
Start with a short city tour of Muscat, then drive south along the coast toward Sur. You'll pass through Quriyat fishing village and stop at Bamah Sinkhole to take photos. The white sandy beach at Fins comes next, where you can swim. After that, head to Wadi Shab to swim through natural pools with banana plantations on the sides. Settle into Sur and Ras Al Hadd for the night. Once you've had dinner, you'll be driven to Ras al Jinz Turtles Sanctuary where green sea turtles come ashore to nest and lay eggs on the beach.

Sur to Wahiba Sands
Following breakfast, you'll travel to Wadi Bani Khaled, one of Oman's largest wadis, where the cool water is perfect for swimming. From there, continue into Wahiba Sands to see the desert landscape with its shifting sand dunes. You'll do 4x4 dune-bashing and try camel riding. Later, visit a local Bedouin family to learn about their daily life, have traditional coffee and dates, and share a campfire dinner. You'll spend the night camping in the desert.

Landmarks Wadi Bani Khaled Wahiba Sands - Day 3
Wahiba Sands to Nizwa to Muscat
After breakfast, head to Nizwa, the interior's capital and where Islam took root in the Sultanate. You'll walk through the Round Tower Fort from the 17th century and check out the souq, which is famous for Friday cattle auctions, hand-carved Khanjars (traditional daggers), and ornamental silver jewellery. Next, visit Jabrin, one of Oman's finest castles from the late 17th century with exceptional ceiling paintings and woodcarvings. Head back to Muscat in the late afternoon.
