Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Your representative meets you at the airport with a sign and drives you to your Cairo hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, though you can hang out at the hotel if you arrive earlier. The evening is yours if you want it, with options like a Nile dinner cruise with entertainment or a Sound and Light show available for an extra charge.

- Day 2
Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide takes you to Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's Pyramid, and Menkaure's Pyramid along with three smaller ones. You'll walk through the Valley Temple and check out the Great Sphinx, plus get a photo with all three pyramids and Cairo in the background. Following lunch at a local restaurant, head to the Egyptian Museum to see over 250,000 artifacts, including King Tutankhamun's treasures. Later, transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan, with dinner included.

Aswan
After breakfast on the train, you'll arrive in Aswan where representatives meet you for a full day of sightseeing. Start at the High Dam, the massive structure built between 1960 and 1970 that changed Egypt's landscape. From there, head to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk still in Egypt. In the afternoon, you'll sail by felucca (traditional Egyptian sailboat) out to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, where you can walk through the Temple of Isis and see its monuments. Later in the evening, you'll head back to your hotel to rest.

Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast, head to Aswan train station for the train to Luxor. Once you arrive, start sightseeing at Karnak Temple on the East Bank, the largest place of worship ever built with temples from multiple generations. Cross to the West Bank to see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its iconic three-tiered balconies. Continue to the Valley of the Kings to explore three of approximately 60 tombs, including King Tutankhamun's tomb. See the Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Lunch happens during the tour. In the evening, transfer to Luxor train station for your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo, with dinner included.

- Day 5
Cairo
After breakfast on the train, you arrive in Cairo and head to Coptic Cairo to explore historic religious sites: Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Next, visit the Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque, the first mosque built in Egypt. A warm lunch at a quality restaurant follows. Afterward, go to the Citadel of Salah El-Din for panoramic views of Cairo and tour the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque from the early 19th century. If time allows, walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the historically famous oldest market in the Middle East. Transfer back to your hotel for the night.

Cairo to Alexandria
After breakfast, your representative picks you up and drives about 210 kilometers to Alexandria, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. You'll visit Montazah Palace and Gardens with its 317 acres of large trees and flowers, plus the Salamlek and Haramlek palaces. See Pompey's Pillar, built at the end of the 4th century in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels cut in rock. Lunch happens at a local restaurant. Drive along the Corniche, crossing the Stanley Bridge, then visit the Qaitbay Citadel built on the site of the ancient lighthouse. Finish at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with 8 million books before returning to your Cairo hotel.
