Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Pu Luong
You'll meet up in Hanoi's Old Quarter early in the morning and head out by car toward Pu Luong. The drive includes a stop at a local market where you can browse around and pick up anything you might want, plus you'll pass through the scenic Thung Khe Pass with plenty of photo opportunities. After grabbing lunch at an eco-garden, the real adventure starts with trekking through rice fields and passing through several villages. You'll cross hanging bridges (they're not as intimidating as they sound) and then climb onto a bamboo raft to cruise down Cham Stream. By evening, you'll get back to your mountain retreat and spend some time relaxing in the infinity pool.

Pu Luong to Trang An
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge overlooking the mountains, then trek through rice fields heading toward the hidden village of Kho Muong. There you'll get a real sense of how local people live and work in this area. From there, you'll check out Doi Cave, which is the largest cave around in Pu Luong and worth exploring. After heading back for lunch, you'll have some downtime at the infinity pool to cool off. Later in the afternoon, you'll travel to Trang An and get settled in, leaving the rest of the evening free to do whatever you'd like.

Trang An to Hanoi
Start with breakfast at the retreat, then you'll cycle through the limestone karsts to reach two 10th-century temples where ancient emperors were honored. Next comes a hike up Ma Yen Mountain to see the King's tomb and take in panoramic views across the landscape. You'll then visit a local family to experience what their daily life is really like, which gives you much more insight than just passing through. Lunch happens after that, and then you'll take a boat ride through Trang An's karst landscape before heading back to Hanoi by evening.
