Itinerary
- Day 1
Luang Prabang
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken straight to your hotel to get settled. From there, head out to see some of the key temples around Luang Prabang, stopping by Wat Visoun and Wat Mai. Later in the afternoon, make your way up Mount Phousi where you'll find the sacred stupa and get views across the city and down to the Mekong River, especially nice as the sun starts to set. After that, grab dinner or walk through the Night Market to look at handmade textiles and crafts from local artisans.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
Early on, if you're interested, you can watch monks collecting alms in the morning, which is something you'll really only see in Laos. Then head to Phosi Market for breakfast and local goods. From there, check out Wat Sene, the city's oldest temple, and Wat Xiengthong which is quite beautiful. A boat takes you upstream on the Mekong to Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of gold Buddha statues line the caves. Stop at Ban Xanghai to try local rice wine and Ban Phanom for weaving demonstrations. In the afternoon, visit Kuangsi Waterfall for a swim and walk through the forest, see a few local ethnic villages, and stop at Ban Xangkhong to see silk weavings and traditional paper making. Finish the day watching the sunset from Wat Siphouthabath.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang to Vientiane
Start in the morning at the National Museum, housed in the former Royal Palace, where you can look at artifacts related to Lao culture and history. Spend some time browsing the Central Market before heading to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Once you arrive, walk through the capital's main temples including Wat Sisaket, which has thousands of miniature Buddha statues inside, and Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple that once held the Emerald Buddha. Take photos at Patuxay Monument, Vientiane's version of the Arc de Triomphe, then visit That Luang Stupa which is considered sacred. Later, head down to the Mekong Riverside to watch the sunset and explore what the city has going on in the evening.

Vientiane
After breakfast, if there's time, stop by the Morning Market for last-minute shopping or local snacks. Then you'll be transferred to Wattay airport for your departure.
