Ho Chi Minh City
After landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel in District 1. The rest of the day is free to get settled and start wandering around the area at your own pace.

- Day 2
Cu Chi Tunnels
Early departure for Cu Chi Tunnels, about 1.5 hours from the city. You'll walk through the extensive underground tunnel network that served as living quarters, kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, hospitals and command centers during the war. Along the way, you see hidden trap doors and security traps set into the ground. Try the local cassava and special tea (guerrilla food from that era), and if you want, you can do gun practice shooting. By 2 to 2:30 PM you're back in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mekong Delta
Travel out to My Tho in the Mekong Delta to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, built in the late 19th century. From there, board a sampan boat and cruise around Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop at Unicorn Island for walks through countryside, orchards, and tropical fruit plantations, plus local folk music performances. You'll hand-row a sampan through Thoi Son canal, checking out family-run businesses and a honey-bee farm where you can have honey tea and coconut candy. Lunch happens at a local restaurant before you cycle through Tan Thach village to interact with locals and see how people live in the delta. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by 6 to 6:30 PM.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An
Morning and early afternoon are free time in Ho Chi Minh City before your driver picks you up for the airport. After you fly to Da Nang, another transfer takes you to your hotel in Hoi An town where you can rest and get settled in for the next portion of your trip.

- Day 5
Hoi An Coconut Forest & Cooking Class
A 9:00 AM pickup starts your morning exploring the water-coconut forest via basket boat, complete with a traditional folk music show. You'll fish with local fishermen and have a meal right there on the water. Then a local instructor teaches you simple Vietnamese cooking techniques onboard, and you enjoy the home-cooked food together with the group. After returning to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to rest.

Full day to explore Hoi An on your own schedule. Rent a bike and head to the beach, spend time in the old town checking out shops, try local food and coffee at cafes around town, or just wander and see what catches your interest.

Take second cable car to French Village at 12:00 PM. Buffet lunch with more than 80 dishes. Walk around European Architecture Village. Entertain in Fantasy Park with thrill games, adventure games, 4D and 5D movies. Take cable car down at 3:00-3:30 PM. Return to hotel.

Hoi An to Hue
Drive from Hoi An to Hue by going through the scenic Hai Van Pass. Along the way, stop at several photo spots including Marble Mountain, My Khe Beach, Lang Co Beach and Lap An Lagoon. Once you arrive at your Hue hotel, check in and rest for the evening.

- Day 8
Hue
At 8:00 AM you're picked up for a dragon boat ride to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's oldest pagoda, arriving around 9:30 AM. Next comes The Citadel (the Imperial City), home to Vietnam's last royal dynasty. Then walk through Dong Ba Market, the busiest market in Hue selling local foods and goods. Lunch at a local restaurant happens at noon. Afternoon includes Khai Dinh Tomb at 1:30 PM with its blend of Western and Eastern design, followed by Minh Mang Tomb at 3:00 PM, the more grand of the two royal tombs. After that you transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Hanoi. You arrive at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to your Hanoi hotel to check in.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
Pickup at 8:00 to 8:30 AM from your hotel for transfer to Ha Long (limousine for 5-star cruise option). You check in at the cruise port by 11:30 AM to noon, then board and get a welcome drink and cold towel. Lunch happens onboard while cruising toward Surprising Cave. You explore the cave, then visit Titop Island for swimming and climbing to the top for views of the whole bay. Back onboard, there's a sunset party and cooking class where you make fresh spring rolls. Happy hour runs 5:30 to 6:30 PM (buy 2 drinks, get 1 free). Dinner is at 7 to 8 PM on the sundeck if weather allows. Evening entertainment either means squid fishing or relaxing at the Sky Bar with music and drinks. Overnight on the cruise ship.

- Day 11
Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
Breakfast is served onboard from 6:45 to 7:30 AM while the cruise moves to the Natural Preservation Area. Kayak out from 7:45 to 9:00 AM to explore Luon Cave, where you might see monkeys hanging out on the cliffs. Check out at 9:30 AM and have luggage ready outside your cabin. Early lunch is at 10:00 AM on the second floor restaurant, and you settle any remaining bills. The cruise shuttle gets you back to your Hanoi hotel by 3 to 3:30 PM.
