Bordeaux
You'll fly into Bordeaux and meet your ship at the airport. The afternoon and evening are yours to do what you want. Walk around the city if you're up for it, or just relax on the ship. There's an optional evening walk available if you want to see the monuments with their lights on.

- Day 2
Bordeaux to Cadillac
This morning starts with a guided tour through Bordeaux's city center. You'll see Place des Quinconces and the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, then spend time at the Musée d'Aquitaine to learn about the region's past. After that, the ship heads upstream along the Garonne River. You'll arrive in Cadillac by evening, a small town with a notable castle.

Sauternes
Start the day walking through Cadillac, then cross the river to check out the Sauternes wine region. You'll visit a château to see how they make their wines and do a tasting before heading back to the ship.

Saint-Émilion
You can take a casual stroll through Libourne's city square, which has 16th-century buildings, or pick an optional excursion to the Dordogne region or wine tastings at nearby châteaux. Later on, you'll visit Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can walk through medieval lanes and see vineyard views from the upper town.

Blaye
Spend the morning walking through Bourg, or sign up for an optional trip to Cognac to tour the Camus family Cognac house and try blending your own. After lunch, the ship sails to Blaye where you'll get a guided tour of the 17th-century citadel sitting on a dramatic rock above the river.

Pauillac
You'll relax onboard as the ship moves downstream through scenic country, getting to Pauillac in the early afternoon. There's a wine country tour with tastings of the famous Margaux wines from this area. This evening you'll travel through rolling vineyard hills to dinner at a château, with the château's wines included.

You can also pick optional excursions like a full day at Arcachon on the coast with oyster tasting, a wine barrel-making tour, or a market visit with the Viking Chef.
