- Day 1
Luang Prabang
You'll touch down at Luang Prabang airport and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. Early check-in should work out if they have availability. The rest of your day is open, so you can wander around this UNESCO World Heritage Site on your own and start getting a feel for the ancient city.

Landmarks/POIs Luang Prabang - Day 2
Luang Prabang
After breakfast, head to the Royal Palace Museum, which dates back to the French colonial period. Then you'll take a leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of gold Buddha statues line the walls. Along the way, stop at Ban Xanghai village to check out how locals produce rice wine. Back in the city, you'll see Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong temple, then walk through some craft villages. In the evening, catch the sunset from Wat Prabath and spend time browsing the Night Market.

Luang Prabang to Vientiane
Early morning means joining the monks for the alms-giving ceremony, then checking out the local morning market. After breakfast, climb 329 steps up Phousi Hill to get panoramic views over the city and Mekong River. You'll head out to Kuang Si waterfall with its 50-meter drop and turquoise pools. If you want, there's an option to visit Ban Thapene village for more waterfalls or the Bear Rescue Center. Stop at Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center to see weavers and batik makers at work. Later, you'll go to the train station for the evening journey to Vientiane.

Vientiane
Start your day at Wat Si Muang temple, then drive to Buddha Park with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues scattered throughout. Visit the Lao Disable Women Development Center and pick up handcrafted items to support their work. In the afternoon, see That Luang, Laos's holiest site with its golden spire, and climb Patuxai monument for views across the city. You'll tour Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo museums, then finish by walking along the Mekong River at sunset with some local snacks and drinks.
