Itinerary
- Day 1HanoiYour guide meets you when you land in Hanoi and takes you to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day settling in and getting familiar with Vietnam's capital. 
- Day 2HanoiGrab breakfast at your hotel, then head to Tran Quoc Pagoda on Westlake, one of Hanoi's oldest temples, followed by Quan Thanh Temple. From there you'll visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university founded in 1070. In the afternoon, walk through the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology before taking a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter with stops at Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. The day finishes with a traditional Water Puppetry show in the evening. - Meals

- Day 3Hanoi to Halong BayAfter breakfast and checking out of your hotel, you'll drive east for more than 3 hours to Halong Bay. Board your cruise at Tuan Chau pier and have lunch, then sail past Dog Head and Swan Islands before exploring Luon Cave by bamboo boat. Stop at Titop Island for swimming and viewing the landscape from above, then return to the cruise for seafood dinner. You can spend the evening at the bar or try squid fishing if you're interested. - Meals

- Day 4Halong Bay to SaigonHave your morning coffee or tea on deck while taking in the landscape. Check out Surprising Cave (Sung Sot), then eat lunch on the boat as you head back to Tuan Chau pier. After checking out around 4PM, you'll return to Hanoi and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Your hotel in the city center is waiting for you when you arrive. - Meals

- Day 5Ho Chi Minh CityAfter breakfast, you'll visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the Vietnam War's most significant sites. These 200 kilometers of hand-dug tunnels show where Vietnamese guerrillas lived during the conflict. Back in Saigon in the afternoon, check out the Reunification Palace, a museum and official reception hall. You'll see the colonial-style Central Post Office and walk along Dong Khoi Street for views of the Opera House and Ho Chi Minh Committee building, then browse Ben Thanh Market to see how locals shop and live daily. - Meals

- Day 6Mekong DeltaAfter breakfast, join a shared tour heading to My Tho, the region known for coconut farming and products like coconut candy and rice paper. Cruise the Mekong River to see life along the banks and visit one of the local islands. Try fresh tropical fruits at a plantation while hearing traditional southern Vietnamese folk music, then take small boats through water coconut tree canals to watch local factories work. You'll taste honey tea and see how coconut candy gets made, followed by a horse-cart ride through the village. Before returning to Saigon, you'll stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, which blends Chinese, Cambodian, and French design. - Meals
