Our 6-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route was an absolutely thrilling and rewarding experience! From start to finish, the journey was well-organized, and the team at Lights on Africa Destinations & Safaris ensured everything ran smoothly. We began our adventure in Arusha, full of excitement and anticipation. The Marangu Route, often called the "Coca-Cola Route," is known for its comfortable huts and gradual ascent. Each day brought new challenges, breathtaking landscapes, and a sense of achievement as we climbed higher towards Uhuru Peak. Highlights of Our Trek: 💥 Well-Organized Itinerary – A perfectly planned 6-day journey with expert guidance. 💥 Comfortable Hut Accommodation – Unlike other routes, Marangu offers cozy huts, making the experience more relaxing. 💥 Experienced Guides & Porters – Their support, motivation, and knowledge of the mountain were invaluable. 💥 Scenic Beauty – Lush rainforests, alpine deserts, and stunning glacier views at the summit. ‌💥 Summit Day Victory – Reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m) at sunrise was a breathtaking and emotional moment! The climb was challenging but incredibly fulfilling. The professionalism of Lights on Africa Destinations & Safaris made the experience even better, from well-planned meals to constant encouragement. If you’re looking for an amazing Kilimanjaro trekking experience, I highly recommend this 6-day Marangu Route climb! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced hiker, this trek is an incredible adventure of a lifetime.
