Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin/Ernakulam to Munnar
You'll arrive at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station and get transferred to Munnar, which takes a couple of hours depending on traffic. During the drive, stop by spice plantations where you can see how pepper, cardamom, and other spices grow, then visit Valara or Cheeyappara Falls for some photos and fresh air. After checking into your hotel, the rest of your day is open. Take it easy, grab dinner at the hotel or explore the town on foot if you're not too tired from traveling.

Munnar
This is your full day to see what makes Munnar special. Start with Mattupetty Dam early before it gets too crowded, then head to Echo Point where you can test the acoustics. Move on to Nursery Garden for a walk around local plants and flowers, and stop at Photo Point for views of the surrounding hills. Later, visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about tea production in the region. By evening, you'll do a spice tea trailing experience, walking through plantations and trying different teas before heading back to your hotel.

Munnar to Alleppey
After breakfast, you'll drive to Alleppey in about 4 hours through typical Kerala scenery with villages and paddy fields lining the road. Once there, explore the Kuttanadan Region, which is unique because it's the only place in the world where rice is grown below sea level. That afternoon or evening, board your houseboat on Vembanadu Lake where you'll spend the night, watching the water and local life from your private space.

Alleppey to Cochin
Leave Alleppey and get transferred back to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your departure time. Make sure to check out of your houseboat early so you have plenty of time to catch your flight or train home.
