Do we need cash for eating out, markets? How much cash do you recommend taking for the 11 days? Can you give us an idea of what is the usual gratuity amount?

Wechat, Alipay and cash are the most popular ways of payment in China. You can also use credit card in some of big restuaurants and all shopping malls. You may take a small amount of cash to China. Your tour guide will also help you to find ATM to withdraw cash. You can tip your tour guide in cash, Wechat or Alipay. Tip per person per day is CNY30 to the guide and CNY15 to the driver.

Entrance fees for mentioned sights during the tour are included in the tour price. You will go inside the tourist spots and visit them. Usually it takes around two hours to visit Forbidden City, 1.5 hours in Summer Palace, 1 hour in Great Mosque and 1.5 hours in Small Wild Goose Pagoda (including the Xi'an Musuem). As for the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located inside the Ci'En Temple. You will go inside the Ci'En Temple and see the exterior of the pagoda.

The National Holiday will finished on October 8. The hotel in each city will be included. You could check it in the tour itinerary on the date reaching the city. For the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World (5 star), the room rate is USD229 per night per room with 2 breakfasts. If you need it, I can add it for you after the tour.
