On May 27 2020 I received an email from Trafalgar which said: ------ We are sorry to inform you that, due to current restrictions, all July and August departures have been suspended, which includes your Majestic Alaska trip.We want you to have peace of mind knowing that there is no urgency for you to make any future travel decisions right now. We have automatically issued you a Future Travel Credit, for the full value of the land portion of your trip, and it is attached to your original booking reference held with your Travel Agent. ------ I immediately requested a refund, since I did not want to leave my money (over $27,000!) with them and had no obligation to do so. My travel agent said that Trafalgar refused to refund any money, so in June I filed a dispute with the credit card company that I used to pay for the trip. In September the card company said that Trafalgar "fought them hard" in two attempts to secure a refund, and that the last resort was compulsory arbitration, which would take some time. Of course Trafalgar lost and was forced to pay up, but I did not actually get the refund until late October. You can request for the meal you prefer the date of your booking, perhaps we do not guarantee the availability. Second, it is up to you if you prefer to arrive prior trip date as the check-in to the hotel is at 03:00pm. The welcome reception with the travel director is approximately 06:00pm in the hotel. Third, Private Sedan Airport Transfers are available on the first and last day and in conjunction with pre/post booked through Trafalgar.

This tour does not stop in Canada, so your travel companion who is a green card holder can take this tour since domestic flights do not require a passport. Additionally, your travel companion can bring the current passport for validation along with the green card.
