Salta
You'll arrive in Salta and get settled into your accommodation. If you booked the airport transfer, someone will pick you up and bring you to your hotel. After that, the day is completely open for you to wander around the city at your own pace and get your bearings.

Salta
This is a free day to explore Salta on your own schedule. You can walk through the colonial streets, check out local shops, or relax at a café. Come evening, head to a traditional Peña where you'll find live music, good food, and local atmosphere all in one place.

- Day 3
Salt Flats - Purmamarca
Start at 7 am for the Salt Flats and Purmamarca tour. You'll travel through remote mountain roads along the famous Train to the Clouds route, passing through Quebrada del Toro into the Puna. Stop at the pre-Inca ruins of Santa Rosa de Tastil and the mining town of San Antonio de los Cobres. Later you'll reach the surreal salt flats, then continue to Purmamarca to see the Seven-Color Hill. You'll stay overnight in the village.

Humahuaca Gorge
Spend the day exploring Humahuaca Gorge on a full-day tour through this narrow, colorful valley that's been a cultural route for thousands of years. You'll pass through Tilcara, Uquia, and Humahuaca, seeing Purmamarca again along the way. There's evidence everywhere of prehistoric people, Inca history, and independence-era sites. By evening you'll head back to Salta for your final night.
