Your Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at New Delhi airport and drive you to the hotel. Spend the afternoon walking around the city on your own. You can wander through the busy streets or along the tree-lined boulevards to get a feel for India right away.

New Delhi
Today's a full guided tour of New Delhi. Start at Rajghat where Mahatma Gandhi is memorialized, then head to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Take a rickshaw through the lively Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi, and drive past the Presidential House and India Gate. After that, check out Humayun's Tomb built in 1562 and finish at the Qutab Minar, a famous brick tower.

Later in the day, head to Mehtab Bagh to watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal. Spend the evening checking out marble inlay workshops and shopping in Agra's markets.

Agra to Jaipur
Leave early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Come back to the hotel for breakfast, then travel toward Jaipur. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO site 37 kilometers from Agra and a former 16th-century Mughal capital. After exploring, continue driving to Jaipur for the night.

Jaipur

Varanasi and Sarnath
Begin with a quiet boat ride on the River Ganges at sunrise, seeing spiritual activities along the ghats. Take a morning tour through Varanasi's sacred ghats, then visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple (the Golden Temple) and Bharat Mata Mandir. Travel to Sarnath, an important Buddhist site, to see the Dhamekha Stupa where Buddha gave his first sermon and check out the Archaeological Museum. Stop at the Chaukhandi Stupa before returning to your hotel.

Your driver picks you up in the morning for the transfer to Varanasi Airport. You'll fly to Goa where an Alkof Holidays representative will meet and take you to the resort. The rest of the day is free, so you can walk along the nearby beaches or try local food at one of the popular beach shacks.

Goa

In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat cruise on the Mandovi River and see Panaji, Goa's charming capital.
