  We are interested in a bike tour to do as a family. Our younger child will be just shy of 8 but has been able to do 10-15 mile trips since she was 5. Interested to know if there is a family rate and what the daily distance are like. We are also pretty flexible on destinations and dates as we are just starting to plan - but late June or early July.

    Kids under 14 years old benefits of deductions for accommodation and for visiting the touristic sites, the discount is about 10% of the total value. As we have an assistance car along the route, the kids can perform as much as they can, then we can take them by car. The daily lenght is 25 - 40 miles/day. For the moment we have a guaranteed departure tour starting on July 7th. You will also benefit of group discount, depending the number of participants. For the moment we still have a maximum of 6 seats available for the trip.

  Am very interested in a tour like this or at least a similar tour. I would want to incorporate a stop in Targu Mures to possibly see family either before after or during tour. But the early June date does not work for my wife and I. Is there anything similar coming up in the mid to late August, September, October time frame? Even if its shorter time duration we could figure out other activities to tack on.

    All our tours can be customized, so we can do a detour for you in Targu Mures or we can skip one cycling day for visiting your family, or even adding one more day. For the moment the options for you would be as following: - July (17th -26th) - 29th of July to August 11th, - 27th of August to 2nd of September, - 23rd of October to 10th of November. Please let us know when would be more suitable for you and we can organize a trip for you.

    Still considering the possibility of this trip with substituting one day of cycling for a trip to Targu Mures. If we did trip this year, some time around the August 27th date, what would be the approximate price?

  I'm wondering what the elevation gains are for each day of riding. Also when you say "Forest" trail, how rugged is the riding? Is it flat packed trial or is it more of a challenging trail to ride?

    The daily elevation is around 500m. There are two type of forest road: one day we have a single trail route, which is only a path, but very well done for bicycles. Other roads are just unpaved, accessible also for cars. Most suitable bicycles are trekking and gravel bikes.

    The month of September is fully booked. The earliest time you can book our tour is October 24th. We have MTB and trekking bikes. Most suitable for Transylvania tour are the trekking bicycles. E-bikes are also available on request. For each tour we have the option of single accommodation and all our tours are guided.

  What is the approximate elevation gain for each day's riding, please?

    The average elevation gain is around 300m/day. However, the elevation day is different, so in the first day is around 100, but in other days it is almost 900. Our only available dates for the tour are 19-24 September and 24-29 October.

  Do we need to carry our luggage on the bike? Meaning how much should I pack? I'm fit and play soccer and run. How many hours cycling a day is it? I need to book a flight back from to Saudi Arabia. What time does the trip end and will you arrange for return to Bucharest airport? If so, what day and time should I book my return flight? How many people are signed up for the trip? I would like to book my ticket tonight and don't want it to cancel.
