Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara
You'll travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and you have two options here. The bus route takes about 8 hours with three scenic stops along the way, which gives you chances to stretch and take in the views. If you've arranged it in advance, there's also a 22-minute flight available, which cuts down travel time significantly. Either way, you'll arrive in Pokhara by evening.

Pokhara to Deurali
A private van picks you up from Pokhara and takes you to Phedi, where your trek begins. From there, you'll walk through the foothills heading toward Deurali, passing through Pothana and Australian Camp along the way. You'll reach a checkpoint at Pothana (1950m) for verification, then continue on to Deurali at 2100m. The trek itself takes several hours through rolling terrain.

- Day 3
Deurali to Low Camp
This day focuses on a quiet forest trek along the ridge with green landscape all around you. The trail is small and peaceful, so you'll likely hear birds throughout the morning and spot monkeys in the trees. It's a pretty straightforward walk through the hills as you make your way down to Low Camp.

Low Camp to Rest Camp
You'll wake early to catch sunrise views of Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Mardi before heading up through the jungle. The trail gets steep in sections, and you'll catch glimpses of Annapurna South as you climb. After pushing through the harder terrain, the path opens up as you approach Rest Camp (3170m), where the views shift to open vistas of the mountains around you.

- Day 5
Rest Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp and High Camp
From High Camp, you'll trek uphill toward Mardi Himal base camp along an open ridge with views of Machhapuchhre and the surrounding peaks, including Annapurna South. The terrain changes as you walk above the tree line through meadows where flowers grow and yaks roam. Take care on the steeper sections and follow your guide's lead. On the way back to High Camp, you'll see the Pokhara valley, the Annapurna base camp area, and river gorges stretching out below.

High Camp to Sidding
The trek from High Camp to Sidding is mostly downhill through forest, making it a more relaxed day physically. You'll walk through nice forest with mountains visible through the trees, and the quiet forest air fills with bird sounds. Stay alert since you might encounter animals in the jungle, but generally it's a peaceful descent.

Landmarks/POIs Sidding - Day 7
Sidding to Pokhara
A jeep transfers you from Sidding village back to Pokhara, and you'll arrive before noon. After checking into your hotel, you'll take a guided sightseeing tour of Pokhara in a private car to explore cultural and anthropological sites around the city and learn more about Nepal.

Landmarks/POIs Pokhara - Day 8
Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll drive back to Kathmandu following the same scenic route you took on Day 1, completing your journey through the same landscape but in reverse. The 8-hour drive gives you time to reflect on the trek and enjoy the views one more time before returning to the city.
