Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
A representative meets you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and takes you to your hotel near Thamel. After settling in, you'll get a briefing about the trek ahead to Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass, covering what to expect along the route.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Syange
You'll drive about 5 to 6 hours covering roughly 190 kilometers from Kathmandu to Besisahar. From there, a jeep takes you to Syange where you can see Mt. Annapurna II, Mt. Manaslu, and Mt. Lamjung rising up around you.

Syange to Dharapani
The trek takes you through a gorge with waterfalls, passing Jagat village and Tal situated along the Marsyangdi River. You'll walk winding trails with views of snow-capped peaks before arriving at Dharapani village for the night.

Dharapani to Chame
Starting from Dharapani, you'll trek upward through forests and the Tibetan village of Bagarchhap with its characteristic architecture. After passing apple farms, pine forests, and the villages of Manang and Koto, you'll reach Chame, the district headquarters of the Manang region.

Chame to Pisang
You'll trek from Chame through Telekhu Village with views of Annapurna and Pisang peaks. Crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge, you'll head through upper valley pine forests to reach Pisang for the night.

Pisang to Braga
Trekking to Braga, a Tibetan village where houses are built one on top of another, you'll check out the Gompa, the region's largest Buddhist fortification. This is a key spot to acclimatize before pushing to higher altitudes.

Acclimatization Day in Manang
An acclimatization hike brings you to Khangsar at 3756m/12320ft to help your body adjust. You'll see Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tilicho, Chulu West, and Chulu East from various points. You'll spend the night back in Manang.

Manang to Tilicho Base Camp
You'll trek 4 to 5 hours to Kangsar Village, then the path climbs toward Siri Kharka through rough, stony terrain. Views of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu open up as you navigate the challenging section to Tilicho Base Camp.

Tilicho Lake Excursion
An early wake around 4:30 am gets you moving toward Tilicho Lake, then you'll return via Tilicho Base Camp where lunch breaks your day. From there, you'll trek to Shree Kharka for the night.

Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka
You'll climb steadily, passing the last village near Manang and continuing higher with views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and close-up Chuli Peak views. As you rise, vegetation thins to just juniper bushes before you reach Yak Kharka to explore.

- Day 11
Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
Climbing continues to Thorong Phedi where you'll stay the night. If timing allows, you can hike further on the zigzag path to Upper Phedi or High Camp with teahouses and lodges, cutting distance for the next day.

Crossing Thorong La Pass to Muktinath
An early start gets you to Thorong La Pass before strong winds pick up, offering views of Annapurna, Damodar, Bhrikuti, and the Dhaulagiri range. The steep, rough descent provides exceptional Mt. Dhaulagiri views as you arrive at the holy village of Muktinath.

Muktinath to Marpha
You'll descend about 1200 meters toward the Kaligandaki River with a brief stop at Ekle Bhatti teahouse. Following the windy valley trail, you'll reach Jomsom, headquarters of Mustang region. The evening finds you in Marpha with its whitewashed houses where local apple products are available to sample.

Landmarks Ekle Bhatti Jomsom Marpha - Day 14
Marpha to Pokhara
A 30-minute scenic flight takes you from Jomsom to Pokhara in the early morning. Your hotel near Phewa Tal lake is where you'll check in, and the afternoon includes touring Devi's Falls, the museum, the Tibetan refugee camp, and Gupteshwor Cave. By evening, you can relax at Lakeside bars and restaurants.

You'll drive 6 to 7 hours back to Kathmandu, or take a 30-minute flight as an alternative. Once at your hotel near Thamel, you can do final shopping or hang out at a cafe or bar before departure.

Departure from Kathmandu
A Sherpa Expeditions & Trekking representative takes you to the airport at least three hours before your flight departure. You'll head out with memories of trekking through Nepal's mountain regions.
