Next you'll go to Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop and see how craftspeople work with fossils found in the region. After that, you'll arrive in Merzouga and swap your vehicle for camels. The camel trek takes you across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, and you'll time it to catch the sunset from the desert. Later, you'll settle into a Berber tent camp where dinner is served by a bonfire with traditional drumming and music performances happening throughout the evening.

Then you'll travel along Erg Chebbi to check out the massive pyramid-shaped sand dunes and explore Tissardmin, which has fossils and varied desert landscapes. You'll also visit desert nomadic settlements to learn how people actually live out here, seeing more of Erg Chebbi's dunes along the way.
