Beverley· August 28th, 2025Not sure where to begin!! I have just finished the Marangu 6 day route and cannot thank Almighty Kilimanjaro enough for the trip of a lifetime. From the moment Abdul picked me up at the airport I was made to feel so welcome and part of one big family. The Salinero Hotel they use in Moshi is fantastic, clean and the staff can’t do enough for you (shout out to Patricia). Within 15 mins of arriving Rashid the CEO and John my guide came to my room to do a gear check, they were very thorough and helped me with things I needed to rent. On the morning of pick up I met the rest of the crew then we all set off for 6 days up the mountain together. John was the perfect guide, he was knowledgeable, gave me good advice and was funny and chatty. Every day we had a talk about the next day and what the plan was along with medical checks. I felt prepared, safe and well looked after. On summit night I would not have made it to the top if it wasn’t for John, I cannot thank him enough. The support crew are also incredible, they cannot do enough for you and make sure everything is always perfect. From Richard carrying my bag, to Freddie and Albert cooking and Alfonse bringing me hot water for washing and serving my meals, you guys are the best. The experience would not be what it is without them working so hard behind the scenes so “Asanteni ndugu”. In terms of other bits - The food was truly delicious and I am sure I have put weight on whilst on the mountain!! 🤣 from snacks of popcorn and cakes to meals of soups, chicken, fish, pasta, potatoes and veg, everything was delicious. Blows my mind you can cook like that up a mountain!! Almighty Kilimanjaro you are the best!!Show moreTrip date: August 2025
Hannah· March 28th, 2025My Kilimanjaro climb was incredible and the Almighty Kilimanjaro team done a fantastic job of making it such a great experience. Swalehe was my main guide and his calm, no nonsense approach was great. He knows just how much to push you, he also makes sure you don't overthink of get worried. After being a porter and a guide for so many years, he's really knowledgeable and able to assist with anything you could ask of him. Charles was my waiter and he is one of the kindest, most helpful men I've come across, really sweet, always on hand to help you in any way he can. Armani was my assistant guide for the summit night and without him I don't think I would have made it through. He was encouraging and so attentive, my fingers were freezing cold so he rubbed them, blew hot air on them and done everything he could to keep them warm as we climbed. The food was very nice, portions were huuuuuge! One thing that could be improved is the communication from Raashid prior to the trip. Contact was very limited and only for I was able to try info from other companies and friends who had done the hike before, I would have felt very under prepared! He answered questions that I had but I always had to ask 1st and I felt that things like packing lists, tips for preparation, etc could have been sent. The hotel (Salinero Hotel) that they put you in the night before and the night you finish the hike is really nice!!Show moreTrip date: March 2025- JJay· March 16th, 2025The best tour company to book for a Kilimanjaro hike. It was well organized and the company was really helpful in updating us from time to time. We were picked up from the airport and gave us orientation on the day. Swalehe's (lead guide) team are the best! Shukuru (Asst. guide) was also knowledgeable about the Kilimanjaro and other about Tanzania, making our hike really entertaining and engaging. The team prioritizes your safety and dreams to reach the roof of Africa!! Our cook Dennis prepared really well, healthy and delicious dishes. Charles, our attendant makes sure we have all our needs and ensures we are fed well and entertained. We took the Marangu route for 6 days and it was the best experience of our life. Also, shout out to all the porters (Musa, Sagati, David, Salem, Turuki, Rider and Chisano - hope I got it all spelled right) who make this hike very possible and memorable, they're a really strong and very important part of the team. My friends made it on top! We have also seen a lot of wildlife and unique plants along the wayShow moreTrip date: March 2025
- AAnonymous· February 18th, 2023My trip to Kilimanjaro with Almighty was fantastic. From the start I was very well looked after, including equipment check, a brief introduction and hotel pick up the following day. The trekking experience was really nice, the sleeping huts cosy and the food was great. The whole crew and the guides Murati and Paul were very friendly and caring, also catering for extra wishes. Highlight was the summiting of Mount Kilimanjaro when the crew really went the extra mile to support our team. I can highly recommend this company if you are planning to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.Show moreTrip date: February 2023
