- Pablo· June 16th, 2025In late May, without prior trekking experience, I decided out of the blue to attempt Kilimanjaro via the Machame (Whiskey) route on 6 days. The only thing that was clear to me was that I would secure the services of a local operator. And Almighty Kilimanjaro went above and beyond my expectations. Before the trek, all went smoothly: logistics, briefing, equipment (and private toilet) rentals, stay at the Salinero... Then I was blessed to share my little challenge with a wonderful group of seven individuals led by my guide Muntari. They brought their A+ game every step of the way. Muntari was not only great at managing our pace but he also provided remarkable insights about the fauna & flora we encountered throughout the climb. Shabani (Chef) and Chaz (Waiter) were an amazing one-two punch also, ensuring I was properly fed & hydrated. These two accompanied me & Muntari on the summit attempt, helping me push through several moments of vulnerability. Also the porters were extremely kind and happy seeing me reach daily milestones. I was not aware of what it takes to 'carry' a client to Uhuru Peak and back. I would like to give a massive shout-out to the full guild of porters. The efforts shall be acknowledged and celebrated. All in all, it was a superb experience I will remember forever. Should I decide to do it again in the future, Almighty Kilimanjaro would be my pick again, without a doubt.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- Alex· March 7th, 2025Excellent service from Omben and the crew. Omben was a fantastic guide who knows the mountain better than the back of his hand! He made sure I was prepared correctly for everyday which some guides do not do as I witnessed first hand someone suffer from severe altitude sickness from not wearing the correct clothing. This will be no issue with Omben, he is incredibly experienced and his English is brilliant.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- TSTimothy· December 5th, 2024I recently completed the 6-day Machame Route trek on Mount Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience, thanks to the exceptional team led by Innocent (Chief Guide), Philemon (Cook), Yusto (Waiter), and porters Hugo, Riziki, and Issa. Their dedication, expertise, and warmth made this challenging adventure truly remarkable. The porters were incredible—steadfast and resilient as they navigated the rocky, jagged terrain with heavy gear expertly balanced on their backs and even on their heads. Each time I arrived at camp, my spacious tent was already set up, complete with a table and chair for dining. Their efforts behind the scenes were essential to the trek's success, and I am deeply grateful for their hard work. The cook, Philemon, went above and beyond to prepare hot, delicious, and varied meals that catered perfectly to my dietary restrictions. Every meal featured fresh fruit, carbs, and protein, along with a comforting soup course for dinner. It was amazing to enjoy such quality meals at altitude, and they provided the energy needed for each day's challenges. The waiter, Yusto, was always courteous and attentive, delivering meals with a cheerful smile that lifted my spirits even on foggy, rainy days. His responsiveness ensured I felt cared for throughout the trek. The true star of the experience was my Chief Guide, Innocent, whose expertise and support were invaluable. He stayed by my side every step of the way, advising me on what to wear and carry for each day’s conditions. His knowledge of the mountain and Tanzanian culture enriched the journey, and his vigilance, especially on the more hazardous stretches like the Barranco Wall and the high-altitude ascent from base camp to the summit, ensured my safety. I truly could not have reached Uhuru Peak without his guidance and encouragement. Despite the persistent fog and rain, the incredible scenery, the camaraderie of the team, and the seamless organization by Almighty Kilimanjaro made this trek one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to anyone seeking an unforgettable journey on Kilimanjaro. Thank you to my amazing team and Almighty Kilimanjaro for making it possible!Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- SKSophia· November 13th, 2024I recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro, and it was an incredible experience. The guides were knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping each climber reach the summit. Whether we needed assistance with our bags or emotional support when we were feeling like giving up. The porters and entire crew were hardworking, ensuring we were comfortable and well-fed at each camp. The food was surprisingly good and varied, they catered for all our needs, whether we were vegan or had any other dietry requirements, they provided us with exceptional service, considering the altitude and conditions! Almighty Kilimanjaro also emphasized safety, checking oxygen levels and heartrate daily and adjusting pace as needed. We went "pole pole" which means slowly all the way, which ensured that our whole group reached the summit. We even learned a few Swahili words. The entire trek was well-organized, and I felt in good hands from start to finish. For anyone considering Kilimanjaro, I highly recommend Almighty KilimanjaroShow moreTrip date: November 2024

Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro company, Our mountain guides were Muntary , Swalehe, Ronald and Abdi , along with a fantastic crew of cooks, waiters and porters, who all help make it one of the best experiences of my life. - CConstantin· September 11th, 2024My wife and I chose Almighty Kili to climb Kilimanjaro on the Machame route for 6 days. The guides, porters and chef were very friendly and helpful during the trip. We appreciated the support of Joseph (main guide) and Muneer (support guide) during the summit attempt on the 5th day. Reaching the peak translated in a lot of joy and happiness. The view at the sunrise is unique and the experience is one of a kind. During the trip we slept in a tent that was big enough for the both of us for eating and sleeping. The food was provided by the tour operator and had good variety. Hot water was always provided before the meals. Here is a list of some things that we brought and found pretty useful during the trip: 1- cleaning/wet wipes (no shower for the entire climbing trip). 2- talc to keep our feet dry overnight. 3- packable jackets (light weight and non-voluminous at all). PS: if you're not comfortable with using public toilets (simple hole without water), you could consider renting a portable toilet. In our opinion the price we paid for the trip was fair and included the airport transfer and B&B stay before and after the trip.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- SWSam· July 19th, 2024Amazing experience! I can’t recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro enough if you’re looking to book your Kilimanjaro trek. We chose to do the 6 day Machame route and felt like the tempo and workload was very manageable (we are both 23 and fairly fit). We loved that each day was different in terms of scenery, terrain and views. Our personal favourites were day 2 where we got amazing views of Mount Meru in the distance throughout the day and an epic sunset over the peak at night and obviously the sunrise views from the summit on day 5. The team at Almighty Kilimanjaro really make the trip amazing though! Our group leader, Innocent, was an excellent motivator and genuinely a great guy to be around. He made us all feel very safe throughout the trek and on nights 2,3 and 4 we got our oxygen levels and heart rates checked by him and also a check list on other potential symptoms of altitude sickness. Freddie was our second guide who was also very friendly, helpful and caring. These two were very professional and good at their jobs. We would like to mention Simon who seemed to be a Jack-of-all-trades. Throughout the trek he began as a porter, before helping the chef in the evenings. Once our group spilt into the people doing 6 days and the others 7 days, Simon became a guide alongside Innocent for the final push to the summit. Without both of their positive attitudes and help on the last push, I’m not convinced we would have made it! On the last evening Simon helped manage the camp and served us our meals etc too. He was an amazing guy. We’d also like to mention the chef, Emmanuel and sever Yusto. The food was very impressive each day considering the circumstances and the equipment they had to work with. We had lovely hot meals every day. With Yusto’s impeccable professionalism, politeness and helpfulness he could work in a 5 star restaurant in the UK, we really felt like we were treated like royalty! Lastly, we can’t forget about the amazing porters, the graft they put in is nothing short of incredible! The speed they ascend and descend to ensure we got good spots at the campsite was admirable and they were all so friendly too. We can’t recommend this trip and company enough. Many companies who do this trip are owned by people from the other side of the world. However, Almighty Kilimanjaro is owned and managed by Tanzanians.Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- AAnonymous· July 18th, 2024Our trek with Almighty was amazing. We were so well looked after by fantastic guides Amiri and Kennedy. Their expertise kept us safe and assured every step of the way to Uhuru peak. All of the porters were extremely friendly and hospitable, they cooked very well for us and worked very hard. Special shout outs to Emani, Amiri our waiter and Raheem our chef who were especially good to us. Could not recommend Almighty highly enough - they made our Kilimanjaro experience an unforgettable one.Show moreTrip date: July 2024
