- Felix· May 4th, 2025Absolutely fantastic from the very beginning of our arrival to the completion of our trip. There are a lot of Trekking Companies for climbing Kilimanjaro and it was obvious from the get-go that we picked the best one! The guides, cooks and porters were all fantastic. Kudos to the Cooks for their fantastic meals! I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro as the only company to employ for your summit! We also did a 4 day Safari after the Trek which is a must trip since we travelled 1/2 way around the world to get there. The Safari exceeded our expectations! We saw the "Big Five"! We did not have enough time for Lake manyara but Serengeti, Ngotongoro Crater and Tarangire National Parks made up for it. We saw a Leopard in Tarangire National Park which is very rare for that park. Fantastic way to complete the Safari!Show more
- Sarah· April 22nd, 2025WOW! From the moment I booked to the moment the driver dropped me off at the airport everything was simply amazing. The office staff, the drivers, staff who met me at the hotel were simply incredible. Now the guides and porters….DOUBLE INCREDIBLE!!!! You want for nothing whatsoever when you’re trekking. You’re greeted with hot tea and warm water to wash each morning. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner are fantastic. What the cooks can do up there is nothing short of a miracle. Every night you get a hot water bottle to help keep you warm. While I was a solo trekker I was matched up with six of the best people I’ve ever met and along with the guides and porters I felt like I was hiking with friends. If you’re not doing Kilimanjaro with Almighty kilimanjaro….you’re doing it wrong! When we walked out past the gate we had one last lunch. Then a wonderful gathering with the crew. We watched two other groups finish that didn’t receive anything like our guides and porters gave us. Singing, dancing, hugs, handshakes. Truly a memory I will cherish forever.Show more
- Hannah· March 28th, 2025My Kilimanjaro climb was incredible and the Almighty Kilimanjaro team done a fantastic job of making it such a great experience. Swalehe was my main guide and his calm, no nonsense approach was great. He knows just how much to push you, he also makes sure you don't overthink of get worried. After being a porter and a guide for so many years, he's really knowledgeable and able to assist with anything you could ask of him. Charles was my waiter and he is one of the kindest, most helpful men I've come across, really sweet, always on hand to help you in any way he can. Armani was my assistant guide for the summit night and without him I don't think I would have made it through. He was encouraging and so attentive, my fingers were freezing cold so he rubbed them, blew hot air on them and done everything he could to keep them warm as we climbed. The food was very nice, portions were huuuuuge! One thing that could be improved is the communication from Raashid prior to the trip. Contact was very limited and only for I was able to try info from other companies and friends who had done the hike before, I would have felt very under prepared! He answered questions that I had but I always had to ask 1st and I felt that things like packing lists, tips for preparation, etc could have been sent. The hotel (Salinero Hotel) that they put you in the night before and the night you finish the hike is really nice!!Show more
