Embarkation
You'll board the ship at 4 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. There's a welcome cocktail where you can meet the crew, followed by dinner and evening entertainment as the ship heads out through the night.

Montélimar - Arles
The morning brings a cruise through the French countryside, passing by Valence's cathedral and Montélimar, which is known for its nougat production. You'll arrive in Arles and have the evening free to wander around on your own. There's also an optional excursion available if you want to head to the Camargue to visit a manade and learn about local Provençal traditions.

Gordes - Viviers
You'll start early with a cruise to Avignon, where you have two optional excursion choices. One takes you on a guided tour of the Papal Palace to see its Gothic architecture and papal apartments, or you can visit Gordes and Sénanque Abbey out in the Provençal countryside with its lavender fields. The afternoon continues by boat to Viviers, and there's an optional evening guided tour of this historic town with its small cathedral, Renaissance buildings, and river views.

Tain-l'Hermitage
There's an optional coach tour through the Gorges de l'Ardèche featuring an 18-mile canyon with steep cliffs and limestone rock formations. You'll see the Pont d'Arc natural arch and get several scenic overlooks. After returning to the ship in La Voulte, you'll cruise to Tain-l'Hermitage. An optional tour visits a chocolate discovery center for exploration and tasting. The evening wraps up with a festive gala dinner on board.

Lyon - Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or
The morning cruise takes you to Vienne where you'll have free time to check out the city on your own. Later, the ship heads toward Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or, passing by Lyon with its painted walls, Fourviére Basilica, modern museum, and Vieux Lyon. There's an optional high-end French gastronomic experience at Paul Bocuse's Abbaye de Collonges, though this requires advance reservation.

Lyon
After an early morning cruise to Lyon, you can spend the morning relaxing on board or exploring Lyon on your own. There's an optional afternoon guided tour covering Fourviére Hill and the white basilica for views, Vieux Lyon's old homes and traditional bouchon restaurants, the historic traboules (shortcuts through buildings), and food tasting at Paul Bocuse's Les Halles with local sausage, cheese, and wine. You'll return to the ship for dinner and evening entertainment.
