- Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu
You'll touch down in Kathmandu and our staff will be waiting to greet you. After clearing customs, they'll transfer you to your hotel so you can settle in and rest from your journey.

Kathmandu
This morning you'll visit Kathmandu's main spiritual landmarks. Start at Pashupati Temple, one of the city's most historic sites, then head to the Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath) perched on a hill overlooking the valley. Later, you'll see the Buddha Stupa, completing a tour of the city's key religious sites.

Kathmandu to Beshisahar
After breakfast, you'll start a 7-hour drive heading northwest toward Beshisahar, covering 185 kilometers. The route follows the Trishuli River through countryside with lush green scenery all around. By evening you'll catch your first views of snow-capped mountains as you arrive at your guesthouse.

Beshisahar
Today you'll explore the Beshisahar area on foot, discovering what this region has to offer. You'll see waterfalls and suspension bridges, walk through paddy fields, and take in the surrounding scenery. It's a nice introduction to trekking and the landscape you'll be walking through over the coming days.

- Day 5
Beshisahar to Jagat or Chamche
You'll trek through local villages starting from Bahundanda, crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge. The trail continues beside the river, and you can choose your pace, either heading to the stone village of Jagat or pushing further through forest to Chamje. Both options get you to a guesthouse for the night.

Jagat/Chamche to Bagarchhap
The trail follows the Marsyandi River with steady climbing ahead. You'll pass through Tal, the first village in Manang district, then walk through a wide valley with rolling terrain. By afternoon you'll reach Dharapani with its distinctive Tibetan stone chorten entrance, and later arrive at Bagarchhap surrounded by apple orchards and maize fields, where traditional Tibetan stone houses line the path.

Bagarchhap to Chame
Today you'll walk through communities that migrated from Tibet centuries ago, and you'll notice their Tibetan-influenced architecture and features. The trek goes to Tyanja, then through forest near the river to Kopar, and finally to Chame, which serves as the headquarters of Manang district. From here you'll have nice views of Annapurna II.

- Day 8
Chame to Pisang
You'll trek through deep forest in a steep, narrow valley, crossing rivers on long suspension bridges at high elevations (2,910m and 3,040m). As you climb toward Pisang, the dramatic Paungda Danda rock face comes into view. You'll reach Pisang spread across 3,200-3,300 meters, and if time allows, a short walk through alpine meadows takes you to a local temple for more views.

- Day 9
Pisang to Manang
You'll enter the drier upper Manang district, sheltered from monsoon rains by the Annapurna Range. Here you'll see yak herds and seasonal farming operations. From Pisang you can choose between two routes that both reach Manang by evening, each with different advantages. The southern route through Humde has less climbing but features an airstrip, while the northern route through Ghyaru offers better mountain views. Both paths pass Bryanga before arriving at your guesthouse.

- Day 10
Acclimatization Day
You're staying put in Manang today for acclimatization, which is important at this elevation. In the morning you'll trek to Ganggapurna Lake to see views of Annapurna III, Ganggapurna, and the glacier. Afterward, the afternoon is yours to explore the village at your own pace. Grab coffee at a local bakery, check out the cinema, or just wander around.

- Day 11
Manang to Yak Kharka
You'll hike from Manang to Yak Kharka, and as you climb higher, you'll notice the vegetation changing significantly. The landscape shifts with each meter of elevation gain, showing you the different ecological zones of the Himalayas.

- Day 12
Yak Kharka to Thorungphedi or Thorung High Camp
Today you'll trek from Yak Kharka and can stop at either Thorungphedi or Thorung High Camp depending on your pace and acclimatization. Both spots prepare you for the big pass crossing coming tomorrow.

- Day 13
Thorungphedi/High Camp to Muktinath or Jomsom
You'll start very early in the dark for the climb to Thorung La Pass (5,416m) and arrive at sunrise, which makes for an incredible moment. After taking in the views, you'll descend 1,600 meters over 7 kilometers on a well-maintained track to Muktinath, where you'll see Dhaulagiri for the first time. If you have energy left, a jeep can take you on to Jomsom the same day, or you'll stay in Muktinath.

Jomsom to Tatopani
You'll take a local bus from Jomsom to Tatopani, mixing with Nepalese travelers and other trekkers. The route passes through the world's deepest gorge, sandwiched between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna I (both over 8,000 meters). Later, you can soak in Tatopani's natural hot springs and relax after the tough pass crossing.

Tatopani to Ghorepani
You'll climb to Ghorepani, which sits on a popular trekking route and serves as your base for tomorrow morning. This is the hill station where you'll spend the night preparing for the sunrise trek to Poon Hill.

Ghorepani to Pokhara
You'll get up in the dark and climb 300 meters to Poon Hill (3,210m) to catch the sunrise. As the sun rises, it lights up one peak after another, Dhaulagiri first, then Annapurna South, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, Tilicho Peak, and the Nilgiri range. After breakfast in Ghorepani, you'll descend to Tikedhunga, then catch a jeep to Nayapul and a van to Pokhara for two nights. Alternative routes through villages like Tadapani and Ghandruk are possible depending on conditions.

- Day 17
Pokhara
You'll have a full day in Pokhara, Nepal's most beautiful city, with time to do whatever appeals to you. Walk around Lake Phewa, browse the shops, sit down for a coffee, or book a massage to work out any remaining stiffness from the trek.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll drive back to Kathmandu this morning, a 6-hour journey climbing 1,300 meters in elevation. By evening, everyone will gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the trek. If you prefer, a flight back to Kathmandu is available for an extra cost.
