A driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and take you out to the Longji Scenic Area. You'll spend time in Huangluo Yao Village watching Yao women perform traditional hair braiding, which gives you a real sense of the local culture there. From there, you head to Dazhai village where the choice is yours, either hiking up to see the rice terraces or taking a cable car if you prefer. The landscape is dramatic with those terraced fields everywhere. You'll be back at your hotel by early evening, so it's not an exhausting day but you definitely cover ground.

    Guilin

After you eat breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and then you'll get into exploring Guilin using the public transportation system. Reed Flute Cave is next on the list with its colorful interior lighting, and it's quite something to see. You'll then check out Lu Jia Village, which has traditional folk buildings and is known for its Tofu feast restaurants if you're interested in trying that. Elephant Trunk Hill is iconic and worth stopping by for photos, and Fubo Hill gives you nice river views. Later you can stroll through East and West Lane, which is Guilin's first multi-functional commercial street with various shops and restaurants.
