Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ba Be National Park
Your hotel pickup in Hanoi gets you heading toward Ba Be National Park, and you'll roll into Pac Ngoi village by lunchtime at a local homestay. Once you settle in, there's a scenic walk out to the boat station followed by a boat trip around Ba Be Lake where you'll check out Fairy Pond and An Ma temple. The afternoon is all about getting in the water with swimming and kayaking, which is really the main draw of this place. Back at the homestay for dinner, and if you're interested, there's an optional traditional Tay musical performance happening that evening.

Ba Be to Cao Bang
After breakfast you're leaving Ba Be and driving toward Cao Bang, stopping for lunch in Quang Uyen town along the way. From there you'll visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, which is the 4th largest waterfall along a national border and quite impressive. Next up is Nguom Ngao Cave (also called Tiger cave), then you head back to Cao Bang city for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Cao Bang to Hanoi
Following breakfast, you'll head to Pac Bo Historical Site to see Pac Bo Cave, where President Ho Chi Minh came back to Vietnam after being away for 30 years. While you're there you can also see Lenin River, Karl Marx Mountain, and a stone table on the grounds. On the drive back to Hanoi there's a lunch stop at a local restaurant, and then you'll get dropped off at your hotel where the tour wraps up.
