Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
You'll head to the airport for a scenic flight to Lukla, with mountain and valley views the whole way. Once you land, the trek to Phakding starts right away, and you'll follow the riverside trail through natural landscape the entire time.

Landmarks Lukla Dudh Koshi River Phakding - Day 2
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
From Phakding, you'll trek toward Namche Bazaar alongside the Dudh Koshi river. The path takes you through forests of pine, fir, and rhododendron, and then through Monjo, which marks the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Mountain views appear throughout the day.

Namche Bazaar (Acclimatization Day)
This is your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, so your body can adjust to the higher altitude. You can walk around and check out local Sherpa culture, or take optional short hikes if you're feeling good. Heading to Hotel Everest View gives you panoramic mountain views from up there.

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
The trek to Tengboche brings views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam into sight. If the timing works out and you're there during Mani Rimdu festival, you might see monks in masks doing traditional dances, which is a significant part of the region's culture.

Tengboche to Dingboche
You'll trek to Dingboche through varied mountain landscape and pasture lands. The path passes through settlements as the altitude gets higher. Snow-capped mountains stay visible throughout the day as you make your way up.

Landmarks Dingboche - Day 6
Dingboche to Lobuche
This day takes you from lower altitude up to Dugla, then on to Khumbu Glacier with views of Tawache and Cholatse peaks. By the time you reach Lobuche, you're in the high altitude zone and the cold becomes much more intense. Weather conditions get increasingly difficult as you climb.

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep
Early morning, you'll trek for about 3 hours to Gorakshep where you'll have lunch, then continue on to Everest Base Camp. Standing at the foothill of the world's highest mountain is the main event here. In the afternoon, you'll trek back down to Gorakshep, and mountain views stay with you the whole way.

Landmarks Gorakshep Everest Base Camp - Day 8
Gorakshep to Kalapatthar to Pheriche
You'll trek up to Kalapatthar for close-up views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, and Pumori with glaciers surrounding them. From there, continue trekking to Pheriche, a small settlement where you can walk around and explore. Later, you'll head down to a lower altitude spot to help with acclimatization.

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar to Lukla
You'll trek to Lukla on a sandy path that involves strenuous walking, though the landscape views help pass the time. Once in Lukla Bazaar, explore local shops to pick up items, and then celebrate finishing the trek with local drinks and festivities.
