The guides were generally very knowledgeable and helpful, although the one in Trichy seemed a bit rushed. The hotels were not fancy but clean and comfortable, upgrade for more comfort is suggested. From the Dravidian architecture in Madurai to the French Quarter of Pondicherry, we soaked in culture. Our driver was careful and courteous. The guides were great especially in Mahabalipuram.
