Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
You'll leave Arusha after breakfast with a packed lunch ready for the day. A guided walking safari around the Crater Rim with park rangers takes about 1 to 2 hours, giving you a chance to see the landscape up close. After that, you'll drive down to the crater floor for a game drive where you can look for diverse wildlife, including endangered black rhinos that live in the area. The drive back to the lodge happens in the late afternoon, and you'll have dinner there before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Ngorongoro to Empakaii Crater
Following breakfast, you'll head to Nainokanoka Maasai village where you'll meet your Maasai guide and park ranger. From there, the hike to Empakaii Crater begins, taking around 4 to 6 hours depending on your pace. You can explore the rim at your own speed and take breaks as needed. Once you've finished, you'll drive back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 3
Empakaii Crater to Arusha
This morning you'll explore the Empakaii Crater floor with a picnic lunch included. The lake here is where flamingos breed in large numbers, and the forest around it has lots of bird species. Buffalo, hyena, and leopards roam the area too, so there's plenty to see and observe. In the afternoon, you'll transfer back to Arusha, ending your time in the crater region.
