Itinerary
- Day 1
Trujillo
You'll get picked up from your Trujillo hotel around 10:00am and head out to Campaña de Moche. First stop is the Huacas de Moche Museum, where you can learn about the Moche civilization and what they left behind. From there, you'll walk through the Huaca de la Luna religious complex, which has some striking deity imagery carved into it. You'll also get views of the massive Huaca del Sol from a distance. After that, you have time for lunch on your own (around 1:00pm or so). Then you'll rejoin the group at 2:45pm to check out Huaca Arco Iris and visit the Chan Chan Site Museum before heading back to Trujillo by 6:00pm.
