    We booked a 14 day safari with Gilmag Safaris and were worried about the reliability of the service, but when we read review feedbacks from previous customers, we knew we were going to be in the right hands. They were much cheaper than some other quotes received. Mary and her team were there for us and went the extra mile with every possible request had. Mary was always available on WhatsApp and her email replying was also exceptionally fast. Nickson was a great driver and very friendly, making us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. The safari was everything I wanted it to be. Within the first 2 days of the safari we saw all of the big five. We saw countless animals: lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Warthogs, impalas, Waterbucks, etc (all at close range). Don’t doubt and use this company. You won’t be disappointed! They mean business! 10/10 for Gilmag Safaris! What an amazing experience. We shall definitely come back and recommend you to our friends and colleagues.

    I am happy to share my great experience I had from Gilmag Safaris as a Solo traveler. I took a 4 days safari and covered Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro crater since I did not have more time to do a long trip. I could hardly believe the level of comfort and excellent service in my accommodations at Mount Meru Hotel, Maramboi in Tarangire and Marera Valley Lodge in Manyara. They were really sort of luxury serving excellent dishes and sumptuous breakfast. My driver, Nickson made sure I saw everything possible, including rare sightings of a Rhino at close range in Ngorongoro. The car was in great condition, and we never had a problem or breakdown. It included even some extras, such as electric plugs to charge my phone or camera, a fridge for some cold drinks and hot water for coffee/tea. There was so much to see ranging from wild animals, beautiful scenery and nice hotels to relax in. I had a perfect time, thanks to the great planning and execution by the Gilmag Safaris team. I unreservedly recommend this company fully.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before August 14th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 14th, 2025, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Gilmag Safaris . The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
