Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco Sacred Valley Tour
Your day starts with a 7am pickup from your Cusco hotel, then you'll head north into the mountains toward a textile and camelid exhibition center where alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, and guanacos roam. After that stop, you'll drive to El Mirador lookout point to take in views of the Sacred Valley and learn about the region's Inca history. Next, you'll check out the ruins at Pisac, where you can see the stonework and agricultural terraces the Incas built into the mountainside. By midday you'll grab a buffet lunch in Urubamba. From there, you'll head to Ollantaytambo to walk through its Inca ruins and see the rock formations up close. Later, you'll stop in Chinchero to watch how natural dyes get made for textiles before heading back to Cusco, arriving around 7pm.
