Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Nagdi
Your journey starts with an overland bus ride through Nepal's mid-west, following the Trisuli River for several hours until you reach Besisar, the main town in Lamjung district. From there, you'll head upstream along the Marysangdi River and take a short walk to Nagdi, a small farm village sitting in the sub-tropical zone where you'll settle in for your first night.

Nagdi to Jagat
The trek kicks off with an uphill push to Bahun Danda, a hilltop village with nice views across the valley. After that, you'll descend back toward the Marysangdi River and take an easy winding walk to Syange village. From there, you'll climb above the river to reach Jagat, another charming farm village that has several lodges and offers views of waterfalls in the distance.

Jagat to Dharapani
You'll continue on winding paths toward Chamje near the Marysangdi River, then enter forested areas where you can see the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. Walking through Tal-Besi village in a scenic valley, you'll trek for several more hours to reach Dharapani, a village with strong Buddhist culture. This spot sits right at the junction where the Annapurna Circuit meets the Manaslu trekking trails.

Dharapani to Chame
This morning you'll walk through cool rhododendron and pine forests, passing Bagachap and Danque villages as you go. There's a steep but short climb up to Timang village where you'll enter a more Buddhist area with views of Mt. Manaslu ahead. After that, you'll trek for several hours to reach Chame, a large town and the district headquarters for Manang.

Chame to Pisang
You'll walk through beautiful forests filled with rhododendron and pine trees as the air gets cooler and elevation increases. Following the Marysangdi River upstream, you'll reach Bhratang village, then climb uphill through pine trees to Dhukure Pokhari where you get views of Chulu and Pisang Peak. After lunch, you'll walk downhill to Pisang village for your overnight stay.

Pisang to Manang
Located in Manang valley with mountain views surrounding you, you'll trek through forest to a hilltop offering panoramic views of Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna, Chulu, and Pisang Peak. Continuing to Hongde village with its small airstrip, you'll notice tree lines fade into barren landscape. Along the route, you'll visit the ancient Braga Monastery featuring Buddhist relics, ancient wall paintings, and frescos with good mountain views. The day finishes with about an hour's walk to Manang village with its traditional Tibetan-style houses.

- Day 7
Manang (Acclimatization)
This is your important rest day for acclimatizing before tackling high altitude and Thorang-La Pass. You'll enjoy a short hike exploring Manang village beneath the towering Annapurna and Gangapurna peaks. If you're feeling up for it, there are optional hikes to a higher viewpoint for views of Gangapurna Glacier and the Manang Glacial Lake, or you can trek to Ice Lake, a small frozen pond sitting high above the valley with great mountain panoramas.

Manang to Ledar
After your rest day at Manang, you'll trek toward Ledar passing Yak Kharka on an interesting high-altitude walk with mountain views throughout. You'll cross small streams to reach Yak Kharka, a small settlement with incredible views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Chulu Peaks. Then it's a short walk to Ledar, your overnight destination which has good lodges and views of Chulu West and Gangapurna peaks.

Ledar to Thorang Phedi
Starting with a short morning walk on a good wide trail, you'll descend slightly to a river, then climb up to a pleasant path above the water. This high-altitude trek gives you chances to spot wildlife like Himalayan Thar and mountain antelopes, and if you're lucky, you might even catch sight of an elusive snow leopard living in this mountainous area.

Landmarks Thorang Phedi - Day 10
Thorang Phedi to Muktinath
The big day begins early after breakfast with a long climb to Thorang-La Pass, reaching 5,416 m (17,769 ft) at the summit. This is the highest point of your trip with views of snowcapped peaks and landscapes decorated with thousands of colorful Buddhist prayer flags. From the top, you'll descend the long trail to Muktinath, a sacred site for both Hindu and Buddhist faiths, with a name meaning 'the place for Nirvana or Liberation.'

- Day 11
Muktinath to Jomsom
After Muktinath, the rest of your trek features easier, moderate walks. You'll descend about 1,200 m to reach the flat Kaligandaki River valley, then walk along the river to Jomsom, the headquarters of the Mustang area. This town sits above the river and has a small airstrip. Spend your afternoon exploring Jomsom's streets filled with shops and lodges, getting to know this town home to the Thakali people with strong trade heritage on the historic Trans-Himalayan caravan route between Nepal and Tibet.

Jomsom to Pokhara
You'll leave your lodge early for a short walk to Jomsom Air Terminal and board your scenic short flight to Pokhara, which operates in the morning to avoid strong winds. During the flight, you'll see grand views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges all the way until landing in beautiful Pokhara. After arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel on the serene shores of Phewa Lake.
