Tisha· January 25th, 2019I trekked the Manaslu circuit over 13 days with my girlfriend. Our guide, Ananda was incredible. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great trip. The entire trip was less crowded. We loved hiking the Larkye La pass and sunrise from there – the downhill was of course painful! When I got sick our guide looked after with great care. He is a wonderful guide, always willing to answer silly questions, and loves to chat. I would recommend bringing plenty of water purification tablets (or a water filter) as bottled water becomes very expensive the higher you go. Also make sure to bring antibiotics and altitude sickness medications as pharmacies are very scarce on this relatively remote hike. I suggest people to trek with a porter, he will help to carry your things. Myself, I cannot imagine doing multi-day hikes carrying relatively heavy loads.
