Itinerary
- Day 1
Islamabad
You'll arrive in Islamabad and get settled into your hotel. Once you've checked in and had some time to freshen up, head out in the evening to Monal for dinner. The drive gives you a chance to see the city as the sun starts to set, and the restaurant sits up on a hill with nice views over the area.
Landmarks/POIs Monal - Day 2
Taxila - Khanpur Lake
After breakfast, drive out to Taxila to visit the Taxila Museum where you can see artifacts from the Gandhara civilization. From there, walk through some of the ancient sites in the area. Later, head to Khanpur Lake for a boat ride and grab lunch by the water. You'll drive back to Islamabad in the afternoon and have dinner before settling in for the night.
