Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Syaprubensi
You'll start with a scenic drive north from Kathmandu, heading through Rasuwa district toward Syaprubensi village. The route takes you through the heart of the Tamang tribal region, and you'll spend your first night in Syaprubensi. The drive gives you time to adjust to the landscape before the trekking begins.

Landmarks Langtang Himal Rasuwa District - Day 2
Syaprubensi to Lama Hotel
From Syaprubensi, you'll cross a bridge over the Langtang River and start hiking uphill through farm areas and dense green forest. The path gradually climbs as you move deeper into the forested terrain, and by the end of the day you'll reach Lama Hotel, a forest clearing settlement where you'll stop for the night.

Landmarks Langtang River - Day 3
Lama Hotel to Langtang Village
The trek continues alongside the Langtang River through a deep forested gorge as the elevation climbs. You'll pass through Ghodetabla and into cooler areas, and the route opens up as you approach Langtang village. Views of Langtang Lirung peaks come into sight as you arrive in this forest-surrounded settlement for overnight.

- Day 4
Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa
This is a shorter trekking day with a steep climb out of the forest to reach a ridge, followed by a descent into the wide Langtang Valley. Mountain peaks surround you on all sides, and you'll arrive at Kyanjing Gompa settlement by afternoon. The dramatic opening of the valley makes this day particularly rewarding.

Landmarks Langtang Valley Kyanjing Gompa - Day 5
Acclimatization Day
You have a free day to acclimatize at Kyanjing Gompa (11,500 feet/3,505 meters). If you're feeling up to it, optional hikes to Kyanjing Ri or Tserko Ri will take you above 4,700 meters with panoramic views across the Langtang Himal range. These peaks let you see all the way to the Tibet border mountains.

Landmarks Kyanjing Ri Tserko Ri Langtang Himal - Day 6
Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel
You'll head back downhill from Kyanjing Gompa, retracing your steps through the scenic Langtang Valley. The downhill trek through the valley takes most of the day, and you'll return to Lama Hotel by evening for your overnight stop before the final descent.

Landmarks Langtang Valley - Day 7
Lama Hotel to Syaprubensi
Starting at Lama Hotel, you'll follow forested downhill paths alongside the river with scenic views throughout. The route includes crossing a bridge and continuing down through the forest, and you'll reach Syaprubensi by late afternoon. This final trekking day brings you back to your starting point for your last night.

Landmarks Langtang River - Day 8
Syaprubensi to Kathmandu
After breakfast in Syaprubensi, you'll depart by private vehicle for the drive back to Kathmandu. The morning departure gives you time to head home, and the drive completes your Langtang Valley trekking adventure.
