Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and meet your guide at the airport for the drive to your hotel. After you get settled, there's a private half-day city tour on the schedule. The tour takes you to the Opera House and walks through the French Quarter, then you'll stop at the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Before heading back to the hotel, you'll see the One Pillar Pagoda and drive along Youth Road where you can see West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. Lunch or dinner happens at a traditional restaurant along the way, so you'll experience local food before the day wraps up.

Ha Long Bay
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out at 7:15 AM with your guide to drive to Tuan Chau Harbor in Ha Long City. Once there, you'll board a 2-day sleeper boat cruise with Vietnamese lunch served on the water. The afternoon brings you to the Surprising Cave, which is the largest cave in Ha Long Bay. From there, you can either kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave. Next, the boat takes you to Titov Island where you can swim on the sandy beach and climb up to Titov Peak for views of the bay. You'll spend the evening relaxing on the boat deck, watching the scenery, then make the journey back to Hanoi, pulling in around 9:40 PM.
