- JDJohn M.· January 24th, 2020I and My wife recently did Langtang valley trek in the first week of December with Oriental Journeys. This is our 2nd trek after Annapurna base camp with the same company. We have a good experience from our first trek therefore, we request for the 2nd trek with the same company. Our guide and porter are very helpful and we have taken the same guide and porter in Langtang trek too. Langtang valley was mostly affected by 2015 earthquake and after the reconstruction of the trail after earthquake; tea houses are gradually being built. I have seen lots of trekkers trekking in the Langtang valley. It’s a good time to go to Langtang. We must go to this trek for the upliftment of the local people in the area since they are struggling to sustain after the earthquake. I would highly recommend this company and the trek!Show more

Langtang is definitely best destination to experience the pristine Tibetan culture, mountain Buddhism practices, hidden valley and unspoiled nature. Definitely, people are good. Very happy to see reconstructed Langtang valley. It looks like they forgot mega earthquake of 2015. We had a wonderful trip in Nepal this autumn. Oriental Journeys can be recommended as a best trek/tour operator in Nepal. Our guide Machhindra Acharya did an outstanding service. He briefed culture and heritage of Kathmandu valley so nicely. We are more curious about Nepalese culture. Our porters Kancha and Pemba were so nice.
