  1. Day 1

    Ho Chi Minh City

    You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City where your Travelmarvel representative meets you for the hotel transfer. This evening, there's a Welcome Dinner featuring Vietnamese cuisine to kick things off.

    Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho to Cai Be

    After a morning walking tour through Ho Chi Minh City as it comes to life, you'll drive to My Tho and board the RV Apsara. The boutique river ship then sails to Cai Be, giving you time to settle into your suite or relax on deck. A Welcome Dinner on board lets you meet fellow travellers.

  3. Day 3

    Cai Be to Sa Dec to Tan Chau

    You'll take a tender boat through Cai Be's local river life, visiting Cai Be Church, the tallest in the Mekong Delta, and watching rice paper and coconut candy being made. From there, cruise to Sa Dec for a guided tour of the colorful markets and the home of Huynh Thuy Le. Lunch happens back on the ship, followed by an optional spa treatment. Later, you'll have dinner while sailing to Tan Chau.

  4. Day 4

    Tan Chau to Evergreen Island to Cambodian Border

    Small boats take you through tiny tributaries around Tan Chau before you hop into a rickshaw for a tour through quiet laneways. You'll check out silk-weaving workshops and see traditional Vietnamese farming on Evergreen Island where water buffalo still work the land. Lunch is on board, then the ship heads toward the Cambodian border while border paperwork gets sorted out with presentations happening. Late in the day, you'll cross into Cambodia and sail overnight toward Phnom Penh.

After lunch on board, you'll see the Royal Palace with its white and gold architecture and the Silver Pagoda. The afternoon is yours to explore local markets, try street food, or stay relaxed on the ship.

    Phnom Penh to Oudong to Koh Chen

    A coach takes you to Oudong for a Buddhist blessing ceremony with resident monks, then you'll visit copperware workshops at Koh Chen before heading back to the ship. The rest of the afternoon is free in Phnom Penh or you can choose from cyclo tours, cooking workshops, or craft beverage tastings if those appeal to you.

Tuk tuks take you past rice fields and through stilt houses where village women work Khmer fabrics on wooden looms. You'll return to the ship for lunch as it sails to Angkor Ban. The afternoon gives you free time on the Sun Deck or a chance to use the pool.

After lunch, the ship sails to Kampong Cham where you can explore Koh Pen by tuk tuk. You'll have a Farewell Dinner on board with fellow travellers to reflect on the trip.

You can either visit a local charity supporting underprivileged children through education or catch a circus performance before checking into your luxury accommodation.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before April 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of $1,100 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Marvel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
