- Paula· July 25th, 2025Our 13 day journey with Irish Experience Tours was 5 star. Our driver/guide, Lee, shared his love of Ireland, its history and beauty and great stories of its people and places. He was attentive to each passenger and treated us like family. He read the interests of the group and adapted the tour accordingly. Our accommodations and the bus we travelled in were very comfortable. The tour was wonderful and left us with great memories.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- IIngrid· July 19th, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our 13 day Ireland tour!! Our driver/guide Lee was amazing!!! He was easy to understand since he spoke slowly and clearly so we could understand him👍. We could tell Lee really enjoyed his job as he was very personalbe, attentive, informative, funny and accommodating!!! Lee went above and beyond😊. Lee was very accommodating with extra restroom stops when needed👍 Lee also took many photos and group photos that he shared on the WhatsApp group chat he set up!!👍👍. As for the tour, the bus was very comfortable with a convenient mini cooler storage for our drinks👍. It was GREAT that we all had 2 seats for ourselves👍. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop! So glad we went to Northern Ireland! Derry was very eye opening to the religious turmoil still happening!😔. The Giants Causeway was amazing to see and learn about! We enjoyed all of our stops on the entire trip. There was plenty of time at each stop. The walking tours were very informative. Loved the sheep herding demonstration! Also the option to see the Irish dancing show was excellent! Lee would always suggest restaurants in each of our overnight locations. He also organized group dinners for anyone interested which we really enjoyed🤗 We booked the Classic package and the accommodations were very nice with a delicious breakfast. Loved the small group tour! Would have liked to include a stop at the Blarney castle and a whiskey tasting yet know it's hard to include everything in a tour. Maybe make the tour 14 days versus 13??? We would highly recommend this tour and company and including Northern Ireland if you have the time! Kudos to Sean, the owner, for running a great company!! Hope you can add tours in Scotland in the future🤗 Ingrid & Bob, Seattle, WA USAShow moreTrip date: June 2025
- Tammie and Shawn· July 11th, 2025The tour was excellent. Lee, our guide, made the our that much better adding information throughout the tour, taking group pictures and sharing pictures with the group. Sharing recommendations in the local towns, setting up group meals, helping in any way he could. My teenagers were worried that they would not feel like the fit in with what seemed like an older group, but Lee and the group made them feel totally at home and it was a great trip/adventure for all of us. I would highly recommend Irish Adventure Tours.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- KRKathleen A· June 24th, 2025We took the 13 day full Irish experience tour in May 2025 and loved every minute! This is an awesome tour company and our driver, Leigh, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw as much as possible and that everyone's needs were met. He was very informative, organized, and funny and added lots of extra touches to the tour. The small group was the perfect size as we had lots of room on the bus and could stretch out. We covered over 1200 miles of Ireland and the sights were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this company and the driver!!!!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- Sarah· June 12th, 2025We enjoyed the best of both worlds with this small group guided tour experience! Besides the stress-free advantage of not having to drive a rented car on the "wrong side" of the road to see Ireland's stunning Wild Atlantic Way, we met a nice group of between 5-8 fellow travellers and had a few days of independent exploration. This smaller group was much more agile and agreeable than a typical coach full of 50 tourists! Our guide and bus driver, Anthony Dawson, was exceptional. Not only did he ensure we got everywhere safely on often narrow and winding mountain roads, but he communicated well and adapted the tour as required "on the fly" when the weather or other factors changed our plans. During one bonus visit, we were fortunate to see County Kerry's Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park where we had an amazing panoramic view of the nature reserve and surrounding area from a 20-meter tall viewing tower. From the wild beauty of the Connemara Region, to the history in Northern Ireland and the charm of colourful towns like Westport, Dingle and Killarney, there were too many highlights to name during our 13-day tour. Anthony's background as a professional photographer who knew where to take the best pictures, and as an artist, historian and overall fun guy, made our trip all that more enjoyable. His well-curated bus playilst perfectly enhanced the passing scenery and he always made sure we knew where we could find the best pubs at each overnight stop. We've been on a lot of guided tours around the world, but Irish Experience Tours, wtih Anthony Dawson, ranks among the best!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- CChristine· June 8th, 2025My wife and I don’t believe we could have had a better experience. We were very pleased with the small group option. Our guide Anthony was excellent, sharing his knowledge about the regions we traveled through. Interactions with the people of Ireland was pleasant throughout the trip. Food wise, it was mostly good. Some locations had excellent dishes to choose from. Hamburgers seemed to be available everywhere. Breakfast was good everyday. Lodging was adequate, however keep in mind most do not have air conditioning! Hence the reason we choose to visit before Summer. To our disappointment, when booking our trip, we failed to recognize the option to upgrade the lodging. We for certain would have paid extra for that option. I believe the website could have made that easier to spot, just my opinion.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- LPLaurette· May 29th, 2025The itinerary was such that we experienced Ireland both as a group and as individual travelers making choices about how we would like to spend our time. - Joe· May 15th, 2025The people of Ireland and our traveling companions were warm and friendly. The natural beauty was breathtaking- the cliffs and 5the Giants Causeway. Accommodations were lovely and comfortable with delicious breakfast options. The trad music and dancing enriched the experience. The weather- it rained, it’s Ireland so what did you expect. The Castles, churches , the history were amazing. Our tour guide,Anthony, was knowledgeable and entertaining. All in all a wonderful life experience!Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- HDHelene· October 19th, 2024Anthony Dawson is a historian, professional photographer who knew where we should take photos, musician; pairing music with the places that we were visiting.. Caring to our unique group of people all ages and nationalities. He could think outside of the box when traffic ruined our plans or weather, he had another plan. Asked on June 2nd, 2025Would it be possible to stay at the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel in Clifden which is on the Premium Package? If so would there be an extra charge and if so how much? I've always wanted to stay in a castle:)
- Irish Experience ToursOperator•Written June 2025
This is a Castle Hotel rather than an actual castle - I'm afraid you might be left a bit disappointed. Actual castle stays are limited, but I always suggest you try and stay in a castle pre or post tour?

Asked on March 26th, 2025What is the physical rating for this tour, is it okay for seniors? Does it include a lot of walking? Is there some leisure time?
- Irish Experience ToursOperator•Written March 2025
Our 13-Day Wild Irish Experience is designed to be easygoing, immersive, and accessible—making it a fantastic option for seniors or anyone looking for a slower-paced, enriching adventure. Physical Rating: Easy to Moderate (but all flexible & optional!). There is some walking involved—especially during scenic stops, guided walking tours, and visits to natural sites. All walks are optional and gentle, with time to explore at your own pace. You'll have plenty of downtime built in: free time in towns, optional excursions, and relaxed starts on some days. If you're mobile and comfortable walking short distances, you'll be fine.

Asked on January 4th, 2025do your busses have bathroom accommodations?
- Irish Experience ToursOperator•Written January 2025

Asked on November 18th, 2024How are the excursions handled? Is the Tour Guide's job just to transport the group from place to place or does he actually go on the individual tours/sightseeing options with you? How do you get to and from these excursions?
- Irish Experience ToursOperator•Written November 2024
the tour guide will be with you most of the time from 8.30 am until 6 pm. He/She will drive and guide around Ireland. They will be with you on the included visits but not on the optional extras. All these will be organised by your driver/guide while in Ireland and they will introduce you to the local guides that are leading those excursions. We will drop you to the excursions - they are all either centrally located, close to your accommodation or along the itinerary route.
