Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Florence to Chianti

    Your guide picks you up around 10 am from your Florence hotel and drives into the Chianti region. You'll stop at notable castles and wineries along the way, tasting local wines and olive oils to get a sense of what the area produces. After that, you head to Greve to walk around the town and get lunch or grab a coffee if you need a break. Later in the day, you arrive at the farmhouse where you're staying for the next two nights, and dinner is served there so you can settle in and relax.

  2. Day 2

    San Gimignano and Vernaccia Wine Tasting

    This morning you drive through the countryside toward San Gimignano and Castelvecchio National Park. You'll stop at two family-run wineries where they focus on Vernaccia wine, offering tastings paired with local food. After lunch and some time at the wineries, you head to San Gimignano itself to see the medieval towers that the village is known for. You get free time to wander the streets and check out shops or cafes before your driver takes you back to the farmhouse for dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Montalcino and Montepulciano

    Start the day in Montalcino at a well-known winery where you'll tour the production areas and learn about Brunello di Montalcino wine. Lunch happens at the winery, so you'll eat there before moving on. Next, you head to Montepulciano, the medieval village where you can walk the city walls and spend time in traditional shops watching artisans work with copper. You'll also have time to visit wine shops if you want to pick up a bottle or two. From there, your driver takes you back to Florence and your hotel.

    The whole experience was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and efficient. The villa was very comfortable and relaxing. The wine tours were great and served delicious wine and food. We saw some beautiful scenery. I would definitely like to return.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tuscany Untouched Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
