Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakesh
You'll arrive at Marrakesh airport and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. If you're arriving before December 29, accommodation can be arranged ahead of time, so let them know your plans early. Settle in for the night.
- Day 2
Zagora
Start early and drive across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages on the way to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's been used as a filming location for major movies. After that, you'll check out Ouarzazate's cinema museum, then continue through Morocco's largest palm grove and some really striking lunar landscape before reaching Zagora. Dinner and overnight stay at a Kasbah in the palm oasis.

Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll have a relaxed morning before heading to Merzouga. There you'll either trek out on a camel or take a 4x4 into the sand dunes to reach the bivouac. Dinner happens under the stars around a campfire with music and dancing. You'll sleep in a Berber tent that's equipped with comfortable amenities, including solar-powered facilities.

El-Kelâ M'Gouna
Following a New Year brunch, you'll travel through the Ziz Valley toward Tinghir with lunch along the way. Then it's time to explore the gorges and hike through towering rock walls that reach up to 300 meters high, with great views throughout. From there, you'll head to El-Kelâ M'Gouna, known as the capital of roses, passing through the Valley of Roses and the Road of One Thousand Kasbahs. Dinner and overnight in the valley of roses.

Marrakesh
After breakfast, you'll travel back to Marrakesh by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, and you'll see Berber villages tucked into the mountainsides along the way. Once you arrive in Marrakesh, check into your hotel and have the afternoon free to do what you want. Dinner is on your own, and you'll stay overnight.

Marrakesh Airport Departure
After breakfast, you'll head to Marrakesh airport for your departure, timing it according to your flight. Safe travels, and Happy New Year!
