Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Saigon and connect with your driver for the transfer to your hotel. After you get settled in your room, the rest of your day is yours to do what you like. Some people rest up after traveling, while others head out to walk around this busy economic and cultural center right away. Either way, you've got time to adjust and get a feel for the city on your own terms.

Landmarks/POIs Ho Chi Minh City - Day 2
Mekong Delta
A scenic 1.5-hour bus ride takes you through rice fields headed toward My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Once there, you'll see Vinh Trang Pagoda before getting on a boat to cruise the Tien River and check out the four sacred islands. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and then you'll tour a coconut candy mill to watch how they make it. A hand-rowed sampan ride through natural canals with live folk music gives you a different perspective on the delta. You'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap
Starting at 8:00 AM, you'll visit Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), a key landmark designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu. From there, you'll see French Colonial buildings including Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. The War Remnants Museum comes next, with its extensive displays related to the Indochina wars. By noon, you'll transfer back to your hotel or your meeting point, and then head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Angkor Complex
This full-day Angkor tour runs from 8:30 AM until 6:30 PM. You'll go through the Angkor Thom complex, spend time at Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm (known from the Tomb Raider film). Lunch takes place at a local restaurant within the Angkor Complex. The afternoon has you visiting the large Angkor Wat, and then you'll head to Phnom Bakheng peak for sunset. Keep in mind there's a 300-person limit at the peak so everyone gets decent time to enjoy the view.

Banteay Srey & Grand Temples
After breakfast at your hotel, your driver picks you up between 7:40-8:10 AM for a full-day temple tour that starts at 8:30 AM and wraps up at 4 PM. You'll see Pre Rup Temple first, then move on to the ornate pink-colored Banteay Srei Temple (The Citadel of Women). Lunch at a nearby restaurant has you trying classic Cambodian curries, soups and stir-fries. The afternoon takes you through East Mebon, Ta Som and Preah Khan Temples, each one built at different periods for different reasons. An air-conditioned vehicle brings you back to the city around 5 PM.

Siem Reap Departure
You'll have breakfast at your hotel, then meet your driver for the transfer to Siem Reap Airport. Plan to arrive there about 2 hours before your international flight departs so you've got time to check in and get through security without rushing.
