Asked on January 7th, 2025Is it possible to avoid the hiking activities as we have physical limitations. Can we upgrade accommodations. Is one way trip to Queenstown possible in order to explore the south area. What is the total luggage that we can bring on board as we are coming from a cruise and have one suitcase two carry on and two backpacks.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written January 2025
This particular tour is a part of our "Active" travel style. I might instead suggest our "Highlights of New Zealand" tour, which would have less active sport activities. Our tours are sold as pre-built packages, so upgrading accommodations is not possible. The tour you were looking at had a service level we consider more Basic, while the tour I have linked above offers a Standard service level. Our CEO can help with transportation recommendations locally, or you could opt to book something independently in advance. To confirm, you have three suitcases (one medium or large, and two carry-on sized)? That will be ok. Typically we allow only one suitcase per person, but if two of them are small then we will still have space for that. The backpacks are ok as well.

Traveler•Written September 2024What is the vehicle carrying the passengers ? and elaborate on the accommodation, please? Also, please state what time the trip ends on 8th at Christchurch
- G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2024
The vehicle used is a private air-conditioned minivan, typically a 9 or 10 seater. There are no activities planned on Day 15, the group will be having breakfast and checking out of the hotel to depart the tour.
- C
Carole
Traveler•Written September 2024so on the 8th of December, after breakfast, everyone could leave. Is it? Although the group size was mentioned as 16, the van has nine to ten seats, according to your most recent email. Please give more details.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2024
Yes, everyone can leave any time on the 8th, there are no activities planned. Regarding the seats, 1 seat = 2 people on a vehicle, so when we say it's a "9-10 seater", then it can fit over 16.
