- Shaune Lee· August 5th, 2024Le Tour du Mont Blanc was excellent. Our guide, Alphonso, was the best! He was knowledgeable, attentive, inspiring, patient & resourceful. The group was great. All walks of life, many ages, and lovely people. The food was plentiful and good. Lodgings were good. The Auburges reminded us how life can be on the trail. A clean bed was welcomed daily. The hiking was tough, as promised but the experience was once in a lifetime!Show moreExplore! commented on this reviewThank you so much for your feedback! - AStuart· August 5th, 2023Definitely the climbs to the Cols but also the fact that the group all got on very well. I was the oldest walker, at 63, so the age spread suited me well.Show moreTrip date: July 2023Review collected by Explore!

- ASue· September 12th, 2023For me, the epic views were so uplifting - difficult to choose just one. Seeing marmots and wild chamois was also really special. The shared picnics were also fun, and the spa at Pre St Didier was excellent. For my daughter who is a runner, the opportunity to see the UTMB in progress was also a highlight.Show moreTrip date: August 2023Review collected by Explore!

Traveler•Written October 2022I am 68 years old and am in pretty good shape but am a little concerned about the difficulty of this trip. How would you rate it on a 1-5 scale on difficulty 5 being the highest.
- Explore!Operator•Written October 2022
Walking grade - Challenging. This is an 8-day trek with an average of 6 to 8 hours of walking a day. We will make climbs and then descents of around 1000 m on five of these days, reaching a maximum altitude of 2,537 m.

Traveler•Written October 2022Is this trip designed for people much younger than I am (68)?
- Explore!Operator•Written October 2022
The trip is designed for a specific age group, we have lots of different age ranges and nationalities joining. On this departure we currently have 3 people in their 40s; 2 in their 50s; 1 in their 60s and 2 in their 70s. As long as you are fit and have done plenty of trekking then age does not matter.
- Explore!Operator•Written October 2022
I'm afraid for this tour a single accommodation hardly to organise. We stay at small, family-run hotels for nine nights and in a traditional auberge (guesthouse) for one night. In the hotels you will usually be accommodated in twin rooms with private bathrooms, though occasionally, when demand for accommodation is high, you may have the use of a shared bathroom.
