- Day 1
Salt Lake City
Land in Salt Lake City this afternoon and connect with your tour director. They'll be on hand to answer questions and help you get settled into your hotel for the night.


- Day 2
Salt Lake City to Jackson
Start with a guided tour through Salt Lake City, taking in Temple Square, the Capitol Building, and the downtown area. After that, head north to Jackson, the old Wild West town where you can walk the wooden sidewalks, check out the shops and galleries, and grab lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Jackson to Grand Teton National Park to Yellowstone National Park to West Yellowstone
Drive into Grand Teton National Park and spend time at Jenny Lake, which sits at the base of Cascade Canyon. You might see moose, fox, deer, or black bears if you're lucky. Continue north into Yellowstone National Park to watch Old Faithful shoot up around 184 feet. You'll stay two nights in West Yellowstone.

- Day 4
Yellowstone National Park
Spend the full day exploring Yellowstone's natural features. Walk the Fountain Paint Pot Trail to see the colorful hydrothermal areas, visit Mammoth Hot Springs, and head out to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to see the Lower Falls. Throughout the day you'll likely spot bison, moose, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, and bears.

West Yellowstone to Helena
Head north to Earthquake Lake Visitor Center to learn how a 7.5 magnitude earthquake formed the lake back in 1959. Then stop in Virginia City to walk through the site of one of the richest gold strikes in the Rocky Mountains and get a feel for authentic Old West history. Later, continue on to Helena and tour the State Capitol.

Helena to Missoula to Kalispell
Travel north to Missoula and visit the Smokejumper's Visitor Center, home to the nation's largest smokejumper base. Learn how firefighters parachute into remote forest fires. From there, drive on to Kalispell, arriving in the late afternoon.

Glacier National Park
Spend the day at Glacier National Park. You'll ride aboard a vintage Red Jammer bus and drive Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of the most scenic highways in North America. The route takes you over Logan Pass at 6,664 feet, where you'll see alpine terrain and mountain views throughout.

Glacier National Park to Waterton Lakes National Park
Cross into Canada and enter Waterton Lakes National Park, where the Alberta prairies meet the Canadian Rockies. The landscapes here mix prairies, crystal clear lakes, waterfalls, and towering peaks. If weather cooperates, there's an optional dark sky stargazing tour available this evening.

Waterton Lakes National Park to Calgary
Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about how Indigenous People hunted buffalo herds. Later, drive to Calgary for a city tour covering Stampede Park, the Saddledome, Fort Calgary, and Canada Olympic Park. The rest of the day is free to spend as you like.
