The tour was more of a bus trip than a tour. Except for the 3 National Parks and the visit to the Smoke Jumpers headquarters, it was just a bus trip where we rode past the sites of some cities before settling in for the night. For example, being dropped off at such places as Temple Square in Salt Lake City and told what time to return to the bus is not my idea of a tour. To make matters worse, the Tabernacle was closed so we just walked around without anything to visit and with no guidance. Also, It would have been nice to see the Great Salt Lake in Salt Lake City even from a distance and Mormon Row in Grand Teton National Park since we were so close to them. Also, most of the hotels did not have their own eateries and were situated so far from restaurants that we could not even walk to them. That’s not good when you’re travelling without a car. I have other suggestions and disappointing aspects of the trip I’d like to relate such as one hotel having two used washclothes in the tub, a half-eaten Orio cookie and an eye drop packet on the floor but planned to write a letter about that to the tour operator, Cosmos. I hope you read this review and respond to it. I look foreard to your response.
