Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
A driver picks you up from central Delhi and takes you to your hotel for some rest. Then you'll explore Old Delhi by rickshaw through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, passing by Kinari Bazar with its wedding goods, the 400-year-old Jama Masjid, and Khari Baoli spice market where the aromas hit you immediately. You'll see the Red Fort and visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. After that, head to New Delhi to check out India Gate, Parliament House, and the Secretariat building. The Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sikh temple is next on your route, and you'll finish with some walking and shopping in New Delhi's center.

Delhi
After breakfast, you'll continue exploring Delhi's UNESCO World Heritage sites. The day includes a visit to Qutub Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret around, and then Humayun's Tomb, a Mughal structure that actually inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. From there, you'll see the Lotus Temple with its distinctive lotus-shaped architecture that welcomes visitors of all faiths. You'll drive along Lodhi Road and spend time in Lodhi Gardens, a historical park where you can see old structures like Bara Gumbad, Shisha Gumbad, and the tombs of various rulers from Delhi's past.

Delhi to Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll travel to Jaipur, known as the Pink City because of its distinctive architecture and color. Once you check into your hotel, you'll do some local sightseeing. Galta Gi is a monkey temple situated in the hills where different monkey species live around the temples and hillside. It's a unique spot that gives you insight into local religious and natural life.

Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide for a full day exploring Jaipur. You'll start at Amber Fort in the hills, then head to the City Palace complex to see its displays, and visit Jantar Mantar, an old astronomical observatory. The Royal Gaitor tombs of Jaipur's past kings are next, followed by a photo stop at Jal Mahal, the palace that sits right on the water. Hawa Mahal with its famous 1,000 small windows is a must-see. You'll end the day shopping at Bapu Bazar market for local goods and souvenirs.

Jaipur to Agra
After breakfast, you'll travel toward Agra to see the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders. On the way, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri to explore the Royal and Sacred areas of this historical city, and visit Abhaneri to see one of India's biggest stepwells with its intricate design. Once you reach Agra, you'll meet your guide and tour Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site that ranks among India's most important forts.

You'll visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning with your guide to see this symbol of eternal love. After breakfast, you'll head to Orchha, a small Hindu town in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. This 15th-century princely state has many temples, palaces, and forts. You'll explore Jehangir Mahal with its Mughal design, Raj Mahal, and Laxmi Narayan Temple where you can see beautiful mural paintings throughout.

After breakfast, you'll travel to Khajuraho. Once you check in at your hotel, you'll have time to relax and settle in. In the evening, you have choices: watch a dance show to experience Indian culture and music, try ayurvedic treatments or massages at the hotel, or take an evening walk through Khajuraho's center to get a feel for the town.

Khajuraho

Khajuraho to Varanasi
After an early breakfast, you'll travel to Varanasi, the most significant city in Hinduism. Check into your hotel and refresh. In the evening, you'll take a boat cruise on the sacred Ganga River to watch the Arti ceremony, where fire offerings are made to the Gods with chanting and rituals honoring the Goddess Ganga.

Varanasi and Sarnath
An early morning boat ride on the Ganga River shows you Varanasi's religious ghats, including the spectacular Dashashwamedh Ghat near Vishwanath Temple. After breakfast, you'll travel to Sarnath, just 6 km away, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. You'll visit the Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum, and Chaukhandi Stupa at this important Buddhist site where the Ganga and Gomti rivers meet. Later, you'll return to Varanasi to visit Alamgir Mosque, Dashashwamedh Ghat again, and Bharat Mata Temple.
