Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll land at Athens airport and head to your hotel near the Plaka district. By 3:00pm, meet your tour leader and the group for a private guided tour of the Acropolis. The Parthenon is the centerpiece here, and you'll get nice views out over the city from up there. Later, grab dinner at a local Greek restaurant right in the Plaka, which has that atmospheric feel with narrow streets and old buildings everywhere.

Athens to Mykonos
The ferry takes you through the Cycladic islands heading to Mykonos. After checking into your hotel, you'll walk through Mykonos Town on the cobblestone streets and find your way to Little Venice for cocktails. Head to the famous windmills for the sunset, then dinner is on your own so you can pick from the local cafes scattered around town.

Mykonos
A jeep adventure takes you to the quieter side of Mykonos. You'll drive past Houlakia and Panormos beaches, then head inland to the ruined Venetian Castle of Paleokastro in Ano Mera. Stop through some rural agricultural areas to see how things work outside the tourist zones. Lunch happens at a seaside tavern, and after that you'll head to Agrari Beach for a swim before returning to your hotel.

Mykonos
A 30-minute cruise gets you to Delos, where Apollo and Artemis were supposedly born. You'll walk through the ancient archaeological sites including the Agora, Sacred Way, and Temple of Apollo. In the afternoon, catch a local bus to Paradise Beach for swimming, music, and food. Spend your final night either at the beach or back in town for dinner.

Mykonos to Santorini
Your last morning in Mykonos is relaxed, then the afternoon ferry takes you to Santorini. Once you reach Thira and check into your hotel, take time to wander through the white-washed houses and open-air cafes perched on the steep cliffs. The views are impressive, so bring your camera. Optional clubbing and nightlife is available if you're interested.

Santorini
Start at Prophet Elias Monastery on the highest point of Santorini for panoramic views across the island and caldera. From there, head to the Red Beach near Akrotiri, then to Perissa with its black sand where you can swim and have lunch. The village of Megalohori shows off traditional Cycladic architecture. Later, go to Oia for the sunset, and expect crowds gathering at every spot with a good view.

Santorini to Crete
The ferry takes you to Crete, the largest island in Greece. You'll see the Koules Venetian Fortress from the harbor when you arrive at Heraklion port. Transfer to your hotel and check in, then you have time for beach time and swimming. Later, explore the area with your tour leader in the evening to get oriented.

Crete
Head to the Palace of Knossos to see the center of the Minoan civilization. You'll walk through the Throne Room with mythical beast frescoes, the Central Court, and the Grand Staircase with impressive bull frescoes. The corridors and Theatral Area give you a sense of how complex the palace was. Later, explore the center of Heraklion town surrounded by medieval walls. Grab coffee and Greek dessert at local patisseries, browse shops, or find souvenirs.

Crete to Athens to Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Heraklion airport according to your flight schedule. You'll fly to Athens and then back home. Say goodbye to the new friends you've made during the trip as your singles vacation ends.
