Agra
Your hotel pickup in Agra happens in the morning for the drive out to Fatehpur Sikri, a former capital city built by Emperor Akbar back in 1569. Once there, you'll walk through the Jama Masjid and see the 54-meter Victory Gate, plus visit the white marble tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti. The palaces mix Hindu, Islamic, and Persian architectural styles throughout. After heading back to Agra later, you'll get a guided tour of Agra Fort before spending time at the Taj Mahal, the ivory-white marble mausoleum that Shah Jahan commissioned. The whole day gives you a solid overview of the region's historical sites and architectural heritage.
